This game is one of the best looking I've seen in this LD edition yet ! Ambiance is absolutely nice, poems are beautiful, story is kinda sad (which is good, means it is well written), graphics a absolutely awesome and camera movements are really good !
That was very nice to play your game, thank you :)

Excellent game overall :D
Almost cried by the end. Great execution, especially because you don't lose too much progress when you get caught.

Nice short story, excellent game, great mood. I found there was too many "zombies" at first, but I understand it was necessary given the game length ;)

An incredibly beautiful game, and very polished. Playing this game was a great experience for me, the story was very well thought out. Kudos!

Awesome game! Great graphics and sound, nice touch with the story!
It was kinda awkward to aim at the shadows, but I think it added to the "run for your life" aspect.
Great job

Incredible, you've done a great job in narrative design! I love every bit about it: posteffects and their distortion that you used; how the walk cycle changed and gradually faded into a running cycle in a massive area; slow but steady story progression and a sudden increase in enemies' amount right behind the character's back. Your project is also similar to Kentucky Route Zero, if to speak about graphics.

The more I would say, the worse it would be.
Things have already been said. I enjoyed this poetic atmosphere. That was touching. Plus it fits perfectly to the theme. Easy mechanic, easy to understand, challenging ; serious stuff.

Beautiful music and old-footage style visuals, cool animations and ghost effects. Loved the atmosphere, the poetic story. I was glad for the save points, I wasn't too good at avoiding the shadows. It's really polished and feels complete, definitely one of my favorite LD40s!

Beautiful game all around. I didn't have to use my flashlight much, though, but that helps the story move along which is the important part to this game. It was quite polished.

nice mood and artstyle. Controls with mouse felt a bit awkward and flashlight was completly useless. Was expecting something more sinister from the story

Everything from the art style to the music is fantastically polished!
Not sure what those shadow people are supposed to represent, but they are effective as challenging gameplay obstacles. Awesome overall!

It's the game I enjoyed the most yet. The mood is just exceptionnal, and being about to become a father, the message stroke me directly in the heart.
The realisation is absolutely clean and well made, and the theme is applied both in narration and gameplay (except for the last step, that was a bit too easy compared to the rest of the progression).

It's totally mastered, definitely one of the gems of this LD to me!
Great job, guys.

One of my favourite LD entries so far. Great vibes. I did get an error though, when I walked from the bridge to the shadow guy on the left (at the hill) he killed me, from which I kept 'spawn dieing' at the bridge and I was unable to continue my path. However the game itself was superb!

Hey guys, thanks a lot for playing our game, for the good reception and the feedbacks !
We will try to improve it when we can to improve the experience, and gives us motivation to go further this way.

Thanks again from all the team. We don't have a name for it, maybe in the future :p

A beautiful entry, very polished, nice job to all of you !

The only negative thing I can find, is the misleading "attend his daughter’s wedding" that kinda feels like a lie, a little more blurry description could be better I guess.

Good job.
Really nice mood and emotional story telling.
One minor nitpick is that to me it felt like ignoring the flashlight and just running through was way easier to do than the other way around.

Otherwise, well done.
