That was very nice to play your game, thank you :)
Almost cried by the end. Great execution, especially because you don't lose too much progress when you get caught.
It was kinda awkward to aim at the shadows, but I think it added to the "run for your life" aspect.
Great job
But i found some part hard imo
Things have already been said. I enjoyed this poetic atmosphere. That was touching. Plus it fits perfectly to the theme. Easy mechanic, easy to understand, challenging ; serious stuff.
Exelent mood, music, art!
I finish game without using torch, think you need tweak this.
Not sure what those shadow people are supposed to represent, but they are effective as challenging gameplay obstacles. Awesome overall!
The realisation is absolutely clean and well made, and the theme is applied both in narration and gameplay (except for the last step, that was a bit too easy compared to the rest of the progression).
It's totally mastered, definitely one of the gems of this LD to me!
Great job, guys.
We will try to improve it when we can to improve the experience, and gives us motivation to go further this way.
Thanks again from all the team. We don't have a name for it, maybe in the future :p
The only negative thing I can find, is the misleading "attend his daughter’s wedding" that kinda feels like a lie, a little more blurry description could be better I guess.
High quality game. Love it.
Really nice mood and emotional story telling.
One minor nitpick is that to me it felt like ignoring the flashlight and just running through was way easier to do than the other way around.
Otherwise, well done.
