The graphics are simple but cool and the music is quite relaxing. The only thing is that there are sounds telling you a volcano is going to be release even if you have no building on it that is quite odd but globaly the sounds are great.
I really enjoyed playing this game.
Good work guys !
But other than that, great graphics and atmosphere, good audio, very well polished, Good job!
Also fits the theme very well
With that said, this game does have a lot in it: resources management, buildings, disasters etc.. all that on a tiny planet and in real time. It's amazing you managed to make all this for a game jam. It really just lacks some polish here and there and it could have some potential for a realease imo. On the UI to make it clearer for example, or maybe add some warnings when a disaster is coming. Also it's hard to know which ground affects each building, maybe I missed an explanation somewhere but it's not in the UI. The sounds are good too but they are a bit confusing, I don't know what cause them sometimes (hence the visual warnings).
Anyway.. it's a really ambitious project and the level of polish is already fantastic for a jam. I didn't talk about the musics yet but they are pretty good. Adding layers little by little is a neat idea, and they make a really nice atmosphere. I prefer one of the 2 though, the more relaxing one (it fits better these kind of games).
Good job everyone! Hope you'll continue this.
That said I really like the vecorised artstyle. And the little squid monster is very cute.
A couple issues:
* The tutorial didn't quite work for me. When it told me to make something to get rid of the alien I made the building that repels aliens instead of the item that removes an alien. This meant the tutorial didn't progress and I was forced to figure everything out by myself. Maybe the tutorial should only give one option at a time.
* It seems to require an excessive amount of energy to power everything. It felt like almost half the things I built were power generators.
Overall though, great work.
Only thing I didn't love was the sound the aliens make, (It's quite annoying, and in the end it's more efficient to leave the alien on the planet than to shoo him away). In any case! That's only minor things, the game is superfantastic!
Keep up your awesome work people!
The only issue I have is that I had periods of time where I was waiting ages for a certain resource to land before I could build anything else so I couldn't really do anything at these times.
Overall it is a great game with decent graphics and audio. Good job!
I find it a little bit hard, but still a good game.
I am too bad at firing my octopus. It always misses the barrel.
UI icons are cool, but it's a little bit unintuitive. It would be great if next to the cost it says which of the resources I lack to build a building.
Otherwise, a very nice entry.

Very neat concept though, I think I would enjoy playing it more if it were easier to tell what resources I had and what the resource cost for everything is! The font was a little too small and hard to read.
The web build seemed to run sluggish as well.
There are problems with the aliencide definition, though, we're aware of that :)
