made by John Ceceri III for LD35 (JAM)
**** UPDATE! We launched an itch.io page where you can get our later builds! ****

Crystal Cry is a VR shooter where you fight in a crystal arena against hordes of monsters! Your lasers turn them into harmless insects that populate the world!

Controls: Tap the screen when the reticle expands to shapeshift the monsters.

Currently the only build is for android using Google Cardboard. A desktop non-vr version will be released soon!

Very interesting! Do you have plans to put a health system in at all?

@ZeroFaction We're planning to keep working on it the next week or two and have a nice little shooter experience up on the Google Play store. There is a lot more gameplay that we want to include in it!

Nice work. Not sure how I'm supposed to tap the screen if it's in my cardboard.

I just bought the Vision Master yesterday and it was super awesome to be able to play your game with it! The guys are creepy which made the game even cooler! If I had the Cardboard would I be able to move throughout the level? Awesome job guys

Hi, nice game ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #35.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description

Hi everyone! Apologies I've been very busy and haven't had a chance to rate and comment!

@Joozey We were working on the current version of the viewer which has a tapping button. (I think older models have a magnet or something)

@fin_nolimit We tried to do movement, but ran out of time. Maybe in the full version!

@Freank That would be awesome! I'll add the game there shortly.

Thanks for commenting and rating everyone! :D

It seems that VR really is arriving... How does it feel to play on google cardboard? Sadly I do not own an android device, so I could not try...
