I dont know why, but I love clicker games. Bravo, and I appreciate the humor a lot. Too bad my nice swimming suit rolled away.

I think 300 clicks for the first lootbox is way too much. I had to use an autoclicker. The items you get from loot boxes looks nice. Needs music.

This is very humorous hahaha.

The clicks for a lootbox is too many to get. I played a while and the server even offline. Sadly, nothing is saved.

Nice job!

@szekeres-szabolcs You're right, it's a bit much for the first one, but it's less than 300 because "Special" and "Daily" will give you more. Definitely needs music and sound effects, but I did not have time >.< Thanks for the feedback!

@antoine-vion It's 5 minutes to complete, maybe less, I thought it was a good length, but thanks for the input!

@cliff-lee-cl The game going offline is part of the humor! You're right about the price, I wanted the first one to be a bit tougher to get, but It could cost slightly less. Thanks for playing =)

Fun experience, I found it really funny that the items you get from loot boxes drop on the ground and just stay there useless.

Funny concept, with the loot box epidemic ravaging online gaming these days. Made me feel dirty for buying lootboxes even in a simulation lol

Fun game! I really like the notifications from the "creators" of the "game" telling me there is much more to see in the loot box! The sun passing is a nice touch but sounds would add more depth I think, as was already mentioned in the comments.

Watching the stuff just pile on the ground and sometimes get thrown in the air when I bought another loot box was all the reward I needed for clicking a button 300 times.

That was an amusing entry. Protip: once you click Play! you can then spam the space bar to keep activating it instead of clicking with your mouse. I think it could have used like 1-2 more updates after the $5 lootbox like removing the ability to buy the boxes with in game currency to really sell it getting worse the more there is :D

@ursagames Thanks for the info, did not realize that!
Yeah I had a lot of plans for multiple lootboxes and other stuff, but I ran out of time =/

I loved the game! The idea is nice and has a lot of potential to become really addictive.
I had a blast when I could buy infinite amount of boxes with real $.
Things you could add in the future is having a catalogue of the items so the player can have things to look forward to even after playing for a decent amount of time and maybe item rarity.
You could also add so the player can drag the items around and drop them wherever in the scene.
Sound effects would make it more enjoyable too.

Overall I had fun trying it out!

Great concept ! With a few sounds and a backgound color instead of skybow background for camera, it could have been better !
You could had a light or 2 to make an ambiance
The buttons "daily" and "weekly" are not enought visible when they are available.
Also, i didn't wanted to go further in the game because I think that the loots are note enought rewarding.. Most of the reward I had were pushed away by other loots or loot boxes !
Also, it is possible buy an infinite amount of boxes at the same time, so they are stacked and it's not what you wanted I think ^^

First of all, a game called "LootOnline" didn't have an online version until today?!?

Secondly, I thought I'd officially dub myself your unofficial online play tester, to see if it worked, bug free, but, frankly, I don't know. Maybe it was bug free. Maybe not. The daily and weekly stuff never worked. Frankly, I don't know if that's intentional or not - I'm on the fence about whether it is.

So, now that I got all that out of the way... I like the concept, BUT there was too much boring stuff / time to get to the humor. For example, I almost close the game right before getting to the "use real money" part. And, that's really where the humor was, and I just barely made it that far. Though, I enjoyed how the "prize loot" just sat around worthlessly.

I had the game open in my other window while typing this comment, and I just went back to it, and, apparently, the daily and weekly buttons DO function, or at least now they do. But, I have to be LOOKING at my coin totals WHILE pressing the button to see the change, since there's no sound or any other indicator. Also, I apparently just beat the game, and I also enjoy the ending. So, there's good humor here, for sure. It's great satire. But, I also don't want to sit around just clicking a button for so long. I don't know if this helps at all. Congrats on your first LD; it's my first LD too.

P.S. Online version seems to work fine, but the "expansion" button doesn't actually expand the screen, it just adds whitespace on the right and bottom. I played it un-expanded.

@cubeeo Thanks for the feedback! You're totally right on your complains, I wanted to add some visual feedback to the daily/weekly bonus, and on Special as well. The pacing is also something I wished I had more time to work on, I had a lot of planned things that didn't make into the game, so it did end up feeling a bit lacking in some parts.

Nice job, made me smile, nailed it. Maybe you get picked up by one of the top AAA studios as their lead loot-box designer and make a quazilliond dollars! Fun anti-game!

Too much click needed and no way to idle click... Ok but I didn't find it very fun sorry :/

@charlotte-fries no worries ;) it was not supposed to be idle really, it would defeat the point.

@marc-grabow Thanks! haha I would politely decline

I spent so much of my hard-earned money to unlock all the items. I just wish I could have gotten more squirrel hats.

Love this idea. I spent all my dollars buying scrolls that I even don't know what they are for. Suggest to add implication when one day passes.

Funny, and very relevant these days! The main thing I was missing was _juice_. Particles! Sounds! Sparks! Confetti! Tweens! That sort of stuff is really easy to do (in Unity as well, I assume) but adds so much to what is essentially a Skinner box (even if it is a parody of Skinner boxes).

Extremely appropriate to the theme, and the recent events. I know the gameplay isn't meant to be fun but I found the criticism quite humorous and entertaining. Good job!

One thing I wasn't sure about were the daily and weekly buttons, it didn't feel like they did anything?
