An experimental action game. Your goal is to stay alive for as long as you can.
Almost entirely controlled with mouse. Exceptions are: ESC which opens menu and Alt+Enter which switches the full screen mode.
UPD 08/10/17: Added a post jam version with a few changes. - Difficulty slightly decreased. - Additional dialogue to clarify AFFECT mechanic. - In ESC menu hold right or left arrow to change mouse sensitivity. - Tiny reward for breaking all the chains.

That being said, the game still has some issues like enemies moving too fast to be able to actually follow their movement. Neither could I always tell apart enemies of different types due to their sprites being too similar.
Anyway, the game certainly has great potential. I symaptize you for experimenting with gameplay and wish you all the best. Keep making games!
It was a bit hard to distinguish red and black enemies from the rest. That may be the point, but I often hit them thinking they were white.
The tutorial was a good bit of polish. I'd be rather confused jumping into the game without it.
Gameplay was tight and had a good feel to it. The graphics and sound effects worked so well with the action too.
It was easy to enter a state of flow when playing this. I only broke the first two chains but I'm going to return to this to try and get free after I've checked out some more games.

Only problem is that the gameplay can be a little jagged and a bit to fast. In that chaos, its often hard to see enemy. Besides that... One of my favorite game so far! Great job!
The only downside is the gameplay, it wouldn't hurt having an optional keyboard support as the mouse didn't feel as good trying to dodge and attack. I get what you tried to do with the mouse and it being more exact than using a keyboard, the real problem is that the area is too small if you compared it with the amount of movement that you do with the mouse.
About the enemies, I think you guys have a problem with the enemies that can attack you and the enemies that you need to attack with your other form. In other games it would be easier as they would have to just change their color to get them more distinguished but in this one it would clash with the palette you have, If I had to solve this it would be making the enemies that can hurt you more bigger, at least 1.5 the size they are currently so you can detect them with just a glance.
Overall this game is one of my favorites of the LD, I really liked it. Excellent Job!
Overall a very good game! Congrats :)

Any advice?
The solo mouse controls worked really well, it was great fun.
It would have been nice to have been able to resize the screen or something, or maybe have markers indicating off screen enemies, as sometimes I felt like I was getting hit from enemies offscreen.
Also, an ending would have been nice, but I guess it fits better with the mood that there isn't one.
Managed to survive for 6 minutes.

Overall, very nice game! Well done!
Thanks for the feedback!
Despite the mechanics are too simple for me to play more than 3-5 minutes, these minutes were fun because of the movement and dynamics.
Also, the mood and audio are just what you need for this kind of game.
Cheers!
The controls are fine and the challenge up there. Going on an *AFFECT* rampage is always very cathartic.
A little bug. When restarting after death the HUD disappears.
Great work!
This is a little gem to me, please keep work on it! :)
