The graphics is very good.
The Audio is basic but good.
I picked this game because I really liked the look of it from the screenshots - it has a great aesthetic.
Unfortunately the frame rate dropped to about 1 frame every two seconds! So this rendered it unplayable for me. I had two attempts: the first time, I fell down the initial shaft and ran out of battery before hitting the bottom. The second time I tried to fight the first bad guy and ran out of power before the battle finished. In both instances the frame rate was very very low.
There was very little sound in the game, and what there was was relatively simple and uninspiring.
This game fits the theme perfectly.
It definitely suffers from performance issues but it was still playable (at least for the while I managed to play before miserably failing my mission. I don't know if performance gets worse later).
Graphics are great and quite well made for a compo entry, although it's kinda missing a "climb" animation. Sound effects work, but they feel kinda empty without music.
I think this game has quite a lot of potential. I hope you can make a post-jam version with at the very least some performance improvements.
As others have said before it definitely fits the theme, and although it's missing some polish, I really liked your game. Congratulations!
The jump looks rather chunky, also with the camera movement.. maybe there are some performance issues too.
Enemies don't attack you when you're far enough.
The art is alright and it's nice to hear a few sound effects here and there although a small music loop would have been great.
I thought i got stuck in the pit and then realized it was possible to climb walls.
The movement and combat feels a bit too simple.
- Good art.
- Solid gameplay
# What I think could have been done better:
- It's _very_ laggy.
The aesthetic is neat, I like the way the UI looks! There was also quite a lot of stuff to explore. It took me a while to figure out there was a climbing mechanic. There seems to be a bug in the way the climbing and jumping mechanics interact, where you can stick to a ceiling by holding space.
