[raw]
made by Trusty for LD 44 (JAM)

Welcome to Blood Alchemy!

You must sacrifice your health to prepare to fight in the arena.

Load out your character then prepare to fight! (If you’re still alive)

Battle your way through enemies.

Kill them all and you will face the boss!

Note: All of the enemies are there... I promise. It's exploration :) !!!

Nice try. I played for 10 minutes. It is cool that, depending on the weapon, the style of warfare varies greatly. There is a bug when running the character, there is a hold down shift, the character will stop moving, but will continue to slide on the ground. And when you first start, the last enemy has gone somewhere. So could not find. It is better to fasten any card.

Nice game! I like the hand drawn style and the mechanics works nicely (aside from the spring bug). Just not so difficult, I think I never got hit, except when I let them hit me to see what happens. Just some minor nitpicking, on my screen the UI got a little misplaced maybe due to the high density resolution, the last enemy was really hard to find and the boss had a huge hitbox, the blood particles would come out way too far from its body XD. Anyway great job!

Really fun games! I wish there was more levels and added more weapons and enemies. Great job!

Thanks for the feedback. I wasn't able to duplicate this sprint bug but I will do some more testing. I was hoping to put a mini-map or arrow to help point in the direction of the enemies so it wasn't a hunt at the end but sadly I ran out of time. I'll make sure to adjust the phoenix's hit box and spawn location for blood particles for the post-LD version!

Great job guys!, like that the player was able to buy items at the beginning that cost you health, (Life is your currency). The game itself was very good, I just find that the fire rate for the bow and wand was a bit to slow, but overall good job!

Note: The player jumps left to right when the mouse is near him. Hope you can fixed it

Good job, i really like that the play-style varies a lot depending on the weapon of choice, the audio is very good too, the i think fits well and the sfx too, two things though i played the web build, and holding shift, did nothing, and when it came to the last enemy, it took a while for me to find him, or for him to spawn. Good game overall

The idea was well executed and the music matched well with the art-style giving it that fantasy feel to it.
I did struggle to fund the last enemy and after going through the entire map twice and not finding it I had to close the game.

Since the map is so big and the enemies don't chase after you until you are within a certain range, might I suggest adding some sort of icons on the screen to indicate in which direction the remaining enemies are at? It could be something super simple like an arrow for: North, West, South, East that turn ON/OFF when enemies are in that general direction. That way I know whee to move :D

Overall I enjoyed the game. I liked the drawing style and the songs. However, it is annoying having to search on the whole map for a single missing enemy. As you suggested, a mini-map would solve this issue.

cute graphics however I found the boss a bit hard because I would doge its attacks and they would hit me anyway.

I found it quite difficult to search for the missing last enemy—overall a nice game though! Also thanks for making a web version of it!
