A man with a rare disease has to embark on a quest through the dimensions when he learns only one flower grows in the world that can stave off his illness.

Arrow Keys to Move Z to enter exploration mode X to Switch to a New Dimension (Consumes 10% energy)

You must enter exploration mode in different biomes on the map to get items.

Consume animals to regain food. Consume trees to regain power. Find and consume the rare flower to refill your medicine bar.

Due to time restraints, some features such as shooting could not be added, you better chase down that deer if you want its meat. As a tip, since in this build you start with less food, you will want to find a forest to eat some deer if you want to survive.

This game has really good graphics, and it controls nice, but it doesn't feel finished. I like the audio too.

Thanks! We were not able to get as much finished as needed due to illness, but we are happy with it considering it was the first time our music guy ever made music and my first time using gamemaker for an actual project, which I really like so far compared to certain other engines. We would like to fix some of the issues in a new build to make it more finished.

The graphics in this game are legitimately impressive. I'm not entirely sure what the actual point of the game is, although I did figure out how to get all of the resources - which honestly seems too easy, as all I did was park the train next to some trees and Z back and forth until I got trees / flowers / deer.

But the graphics look so professional that were this game given more ..gameplay, I think it would be something very seriously good.

The graphics are great, but this really needs a solid gameplay loop. A point, so to speak. But the movement also feels pretty good, so that's a plus. :)

Nice graphics, but I couldn't really figure out what to do. Standing and just spamming 'z' worked though. Some ingame explanations for the Z and X functions would be nice.

@jaako Ah thank you I'll fix that once I work on this again!

Yeah, I can't wait to have more time to make this an actual game with a purpose, the z spam is something that will definitely be taken care of.

The artwork is very good, but I kept running out of food meter and couldn't find any way to fill it up. The crabs that I found hardly replenish the food; it seems it takes more food to hunt a crab than the crab gives you.

Also, does Game Maker not come with an option to export an exe for the game rather than an installer?

Good art work ! nice game but i think you haven't finished your graphics assets. You have a good base. Continue !
