Very interesting mechanics, that I haven't seen before. Looks and sounds quite nice too. It's not terribly engaging for too long, but I thought it was quite intersting.

What I liked:

- The music was bumpin! Would have loved to hear more of it, especially during gameplay

- Looks pretty good. Impressive for a Compo game, and it's really cool (for someone who is terrible with lower-level stuff) that you made it with your own engine.

Things that I don't think worked as well:

- Without much explanation in or out of game, I was initially lost as to what to do

- It's a little too forgiving; I was able to win my first run without knowing what I was doing half the time. Maybe speed up power consumption to force decisions?

- I'm not sure if this is due to some other factor, but it felt like the closer you got to a planet, the higher the required power was. This doesn't make much sense to me; if anything, it should work in the opposite direction, in order to create a fun kind of waiting game to try and minimize power consumption before the planet disappears.

Really liked this. Reminded me of "out there" on iPad. Check it out if you haven't. I got SO close to the end of this three times! Will return to complete it. Nice work.

Finished it ! I liked the setup and overall impression of the game, there's a good adventure-y feel :) On my first 4 runs I had the feeling that I had no chance of winning, whereas in the 5th I could easily find good planets. Maybe the randomization of the planets' stats is too extreme ?
Otherwise, I liked the music but the sfx for interactions gets a bit annoying over time.

Pretty simple mechanism, yet very nice gameplay and graphics! Overall very suiting to the theme! Awesome!!!

I made it home! Although this had quite a simple mechanic, I enjoyed it. You could throw in one or two extra twists and see what emerges. Good work!

Nice original game! And for a compo, wow!

Maybe it's all based on luck but it looks awesome.

Sounds are cool and work perfectly.

Polishing it with better graphics, models would be so nice :)

Nice job!

Decent game, it was bit too short for my liking, but good fun.

Nice little concept, maybe you should have tried to expand it a bit.

Nice, and surprisingly small (in kb) game. It was nicely challenging. The graphics fitted together perfectly. A bit more depth in the possibilities would be a nice addition, but its fine as it is as compo entry. Congrats!

Good game. Things I liked:
- your assets.
- the music was great.
- the ease to win :D i might dislike it if a full game, but as a game jam, i've to play lots of games in a limited time, so having little easy designed curve is appreciated from my POV.
- You made a nice use of the theme!

It's a functional package all right. The audio-visuals work, while not being very pretty. The controls are super simple and work too. Lastly we have the interactivity, which is where I think the simplicity is a bit too much.

You see I half expected there to be a some sort of a landing mode where you have to move around the planet surface collecting fuel and dodging enemies, as in Star Control, but it was all just a die roll. As such the initial adventure feel wore off real fast.

The adventure is also very short and with a a few safe probability calculations very easy too. More difficult choices are needed, especially if there is no landing mode. Some sort of events where you can lose fuel, crew and other resources too, maybe?

Ok work, a bit too simple for my taste.

Nice game. It looked ok and had a bit of gameplay, though not very much as it seems you can simply click every planet and choose the best ods. Stil, you have created a game with the potensial for further development. Good job! :)
