Super Reflux Powergrid Defense! by commanderstitch
This is the super reflux powergrid defense game!
you are going to load this sucker up and will be completely lost because there is hardly any useful UI!
you are a fridge.
the bears are the fuel for the generators.
you can click on the generators, teslas, and teslaSwitchBox to turn them on OR off.
you can NOT click on the bears, you have to run over them and you can carry one at a time.
you can NOT attack, you must rely on your base to save you for as long as you can.
you have health; you can die.
everything has health and can die.
the innocents are attacking your base. They want your food.
protect the grid, if it dies, nothing will have power.
if you want to have this be a competition, start a stopwatch when you start the game, and stop it when you die. see if you can last longer than ever. These are my times: All my stuff destroyed: 3:52. They got me at 5:40 after running around forever. xD
THE "OTHER" link is the TIMELAPSE.
Known Bugs: the mute button does not work unfortunately. sounds were added to late and i wasn't able to debug it in time!

It only needs some pollish.
No music, though not many participants have that (I don't).
In my oppinion, the biggest thing that it needs is some in-game explaination. Having weird things like a refrigerator as player and bears as fuel is fine, funny even, but explaining the stuff on this page instead of the game itself is asking for confusion then.
Oh and the bears get taken even as you walk past the powered machines. I would've liked some control over this.
Your sounds are good enough, but the graphics are even better!
Next time spend some more time on the other aspects, such as the UI as you said, and it'll be an excellent game!
That makes two ratings and replies, so make sure to pay it forward and do the same for others okay?
That way, you in turn also get more ratings, which will help you get better at designing games.
So most of my playtime (at least 4 minutes) was spent running from the 'innocents,' which was basically a zombie apocalypse simulator, so that was kind of fun. Although it quickly became laggy. It also appears that hitboxes have some sort of problem, as I was ostensibly not taking any damage until there was a large swarm of enemies.
In my opinion, it just need balance, maybe distributing the little mices around the field more closely to the batteries whould help.
Also you may write a proper description in this page of how to play, I need to figure it out by my self and at first it wasn't clear, also because the refrigerator appears behind a battery at the start of the game.
Other than that, good job on the entry!
P.S If you would like to check my game that would be great. Thanks :)
