I have mixed feelings about the mixture of real and pixel textures. But I like the style of your pixel art. To be honest it is hard to make out the purpose of the game.

well, i haven't managed to make a single monster.
after going too far to collect more body parts i've got frustrated because of the slow movement speed.
haven't figured out how the inventory works either.

music sounds good though.

too bad, could have been an interesting turn on the theme with monsters.

Agree with @kirlosev movement speed should definetely be faster. I also got very confused with buildings I would enter some but not other... I live the weird mix of real and pixel images. Nice entry!

As they already said there is no need to have the character move so slowly, but nothing that a variable can fix.
I couldn't figure out how to combine the monster tho.

I apologise, The speed does seem a little slow, and the monster creation would not work, as the programmer that made the inventory (https://ldjam.com/users/daniel-michaeloudis) could not get it to work, dispite everything else being in place for it.

Nice game , the character should move faster but that is an easy fix to do, i like the way you took the theme, nice work :)

I agree about the mixed feelings on the textures vs pixels. I think it's a neat idea, but not sure how one would execute it!

Fun game, looking forward to a post-jam version if you have one in the works!

It is a shame to hear that you were not able to get the monster creation code to work, however it is still nice to have a product to show for Ludum Dare even if it did not work out as planned!

I enjoyed the music! Good job and good luck!

Good use of the theme. This has potential, if it's something you want to post LD I think if you fixed those issues it would be a pretty good game!

Unfortunately the monster creation feature doesn't work I really would like to see this.

Cool game, it has potential! Is there a way to run or walk faster in the game? :smile:
The hud info was a bit confusing. Why is my health -1 when I walk to the left? ^^

Thank you for making this and definitely pursue further on this game! It would make a great casual game for mobile devices.
