The music is absolute basic.
But after all for 48 hours this is a great game, wich makes fun and seems to be challenging. I hope you will continue!
At the end, it's begin too be so long...
A picture of my invincible space ship ^^

@arkthalohs I don't know if you might have missed it (which would be very easy, since there is no good explanation) but you can remove old parts by left clicking on them and then right clicking to dismiss placement and store the part. But I agree, there really should be a better system, for example dragging a square to select a bunch of parts to remove.
Though the game has some balancing issues (i.e. always running away pretty much just lets you survive), and there's no real point to using floor or making an interior at all, I really enjoyed it! If you polished it up you could try selling it for a couple bucks, because it was actually quite fun to play :D. Great work!
@mrboxbox thanks! Kinda. If you reach the 20th station you reached home and get a score, but I would recomend not playing until then, because the blance is way off and starting from a certain point nothing can even hurt you, so it gets a little repetitive. Thats one of the main things I will adjust in a post LD version :)
Once I managed to survive past the first station, I had a lot of fun! Really liked winning combat, getting stuff, and being able to add on/repair some damage while flying to the next station. I got
over $1000 when there were 11 stations left, I'll call that "winning" for now ;). Didn't notice there were hotkeys for placing things until the very end, really wish I had noticed that earlier!
Graphics style is nice and consistent, which is good. Gameplay is pretty fantastic, if lacking balance, for a Ludum Dare, I could definitely see wanting to play more of this =).
