Good work!
Graphics were really great, music and sound effects too, levels were challenging and gameplay wise game felt very smooth.
Fun factor is really great with this one for me, puzzle games are my thing so you definitely hit mark for me on this one.
Really great job guys!
This, the music and the grey & red graphics really create tension! Trying to optimize your movement as you see less and less the screen...
And the level design was well done. Challenging and with the difficulty gradually increasing.
If you plan on improving the game later, please add level saving. I went too far and my window closed, now I really want to finish the game but D:
All my points to you (well, except humor, but...).
I really enjoyed the music, and the dimming effect forced me to take a balance between potentially needing less blood, and actually being able to see.
Really good job.
The game is addictive and I kept going through the levels trying desperately not to bleed out (that trail of blood left behind by Giuseppe is wonderfully gore)
Great entry!
On my first playthrough, I didn't know what was happening, and I thought that I was doing something wrong, or that I was being pranked. But on the second one, I started to catch on with how the life worked and about the blood packs, and it became extremely clear that this game was not toying around.
While it's very simple, that the game itself is always getting closer to closing itself added an extra layer of urgency, forcing me to take better actions. As the poor unintelligible being kept bleeding out, I kept trying to find blood packages and trying to move as little as possible as to not get closer to death. I died and died again until it became a chore, but for the time that the game's mechanics were fresh, it was a blast.
I can't think on how it could have been better executed. The music was fantastic (Way to go, Vegacide!), and the simple yet dreadful sprites were a wicked charm. Congratulations on making such a great experience!
If you've got a moment, it'd mean a lot to us if you could [give our game a try](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/joulethief-charge-your-phone). Once again, amazing job on the jam, and I hope that you get to enjoy other entries as well! Cheers! :whale:

This game is very dark, and the combination of the cute little creature and the macabre bleeding mechanic is interesting. The music fits the game very nicely and the window fading out slowly is a nice touch. The level design could probably benefit from making the levels a bit less expansive and instead introduce more puzzle mechanics. Maybe also make the blood bags last a shorter time, so the player really has to count their steps! As it was, the last levels were mostly about patience. Also, the lack of ending is … depressing :D
Good job!
I'd say 30th place in innovation is reasonably good.
