Good ideas in it, easy to play and nice ambient music.
Tried to finish the last level without sacrificing everything, but couldn't figure it out... No matter how I position the fighter screens, enough enemy missle get through to blow me up before enemy runs out of missles, and it looks like you need to have all your missles intact to take down this bugger... ((Though you might still end up one vollye short... devs might just be crue...))
You, indeed, are cruel :japanese_goblin:
One thing I would have liked would to be able to control multiple squadrons at onces. Perhaps Shift + 1-9 to select multiple squads. Anyway, you did a great job and I enjoyed the level progression!
EDIT: Aha, I had to ram it :D
By 'mini pause' you meant a way to manually pause the game to plan the fighter movements, or a bigger pause in the beginning of each level?
Fells like an compete experience!
Beautiful graphics.
Still, the idea of trading volleys of missiles while maneuvering your ship and your fighters is a good one. The barrages of missiles remind me a lot of old sci-fi anime where ships would shoot out these long rows of parallel missiles with long vapor trails.
Definitely would be a good idea, as others mentioned, to establish earlier that ramming is a legitimate mechanic. I wouldn't have tried it in the final level if I hadn't read the comments. Like another commenter, I tried it early on but failed so I didn't do it again.
