Clean-Up Crunch by ScrambledLegs

[raw]
made by ScrambledLegs for LD 42 (COMPO)

After promising his friends to house-sit, Clive decides their house is the perfect place to throw a party. Awaking from the heavy night of drinking, he comes to the horrifying discovery that his friends will be getting back today... in 5 minutes.

Test your organizational skills in this hectic storage game, trying to shove as much of the evidence from the party under beds and into cupboards within the time limit.

The game does not run. Make sure you include a zip with all the files generated by the build. I would make a folder with your games name and build to that folder. You were using Unity, correct?

Thanks! I was unaware what all had to be added to make a unity build run. Only started working in Unity about 4 months ago and never really did any exporting! Hopefully it should be fixed now.

I think the game looks really good and the sound is nic too. The only thing that I don't like are the controls. But still well done!

Thank you for the feedback! After having a few friends try it (no one was available pre-submission) I realized pretty fast that the controls weren't as intuitive as I had hoped. I also didn't spend enough time developing a good tutorial which might have made it easier to grasp.

As already said the controls are a bit weird. Also I couldn't pick up items in front of a fridge, but maybe I'm just to stupid
The game has nice audio and visuals. Funny idea and cool story.

@oadt it's definitely not you, it's a known bug. It has to do with some wonky interactions between the colliders I had on the fridge and the item detection coding. In theory it should be a quick fix, but when you only find the bug an hour before submission and you still are madly developing the tutorial you have to prioritize haha

Interesting concept! It was pretty fun to play, the music was enjoyable. Took a bit to get used to the controls but overall fun to play!
