Coin Clicker! by Cornflowerblue

[raw]
made by Cornflowerblue for LD 44 (JAM)

It's a small clicker game. Unironically only play for a minute max if you like your wrists and fingers. Music made by my brother! He's p gud.

Really fun and excellent art and sound. I would play longer but I wanted to keep my mouse alive ;D. A mobile touch version would make a lot of sense and could be very interesting.

Very good idea and good use of the theme ! The art and the musics are absolutely amazing and give a unique atmosphere to the game. The gameplay is very interesting, where you need to generate money but also need to watch out for ennemies wanting to steal it, you need to fast think : do I kill this ennemy or do I continue generating more money, what will allow me to last longer ? Do I try catching those flying pieces ? It will fly over this ennemy, I can kill the ennemy while catching it. This is just an amazing concept, with amazing graphics, amazing audio, an amazing music that fits the game very well and an amazing execution ! This is the best game of the Jam for me, Congratulations !

I will say... my finger hurts now. All of my FPS muscle memory got thrown right out the window with having to right-click to 'shoot' the enemies. I'd love to see the pace of the game slowed down a bit and make more use of moving the mouse in addition to just having to click (most of your time just spent with the mouse in the middle of the screen). I made it to about 100 seconds, but my hand couldn't keep up after that.

The art looks very crisp, and the music sets a pretty fun mood. Overall, nice work! What did you build it in?
