Did I play a game or a vegan recruitment simulator?
Simple game, the core gameplay loop (Sorry to say) isn't all that fun. But with some tweaking it could be. Make the map bigger, add some puzzles to get to some of the food and boom, got yourself an interesting little puzzle game. The graphics were... creepy, which for the first room seemed out of place but made sense when the first... boom... happened. Small game with some potential, but as it is now it's only mediocre. (Just wanna try and give some advice, sorry if it's a bit harsh)

I new what was gonna happen as soon as I started feeding the rabbit.
But it still hurt.

Amazing Game haha
You really made the sacrifices feel impactful.

Bonus points for including an in-game tutorial. It's nice to play the rules instead of read them :)

Very unusual, quite tranquil to play. Love the bizarre ending. Nice art

Second level is bugged, player drop stuff but it does not show. Very trippy game, I like that. Everything being handrawn, I like that too :)

Very good interactive fiction :) I wanted some Z-sorting so I could see what's in front of what. I liked the theme, and the poor rabbit :)

Is there an ending that doesn't have you getting scolded? I liked the look of the game, good job!

The feed button seemed a bit finicky, I liked the animals suddenly getting huge!

Was surprised to see this game has some healthy rabbits with them not eating the carrots in round one. I also appreciated the rainbow trails - a bit of a throwback of a meme but it's ok.

The eating SFX was incredible, and when the first rabbit exploded I somehow wasn't expecting it and it was a dramatic moment.

I thought the controls were a little confusing, took about a minute for me to figure out how to feed the animals. Not sure if there was a keyboard shortcut I missed, but I was trying to use the arrows and the mouse (in retrospect, WSAD probably would've worked).

Nice job!

Good concept. Gets tedious quickly, though. It would have been interesting if there were some more thought to the interaction. Maybe that if I feed something to the mice first they get big, and then feeding big mice to the cats would have been benificial somehow. Or something else.

My desire to play all the way through this game to give it an informed score was turned back around on me to teach me an ethical lesson... I'm now experiencing a variety of feelings.

great concept, took a while to understand, but it was fun, I laughed when the first rabbit "exploded", I really did not expect it

Very calming... except for the end of each level.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I couldn't figure out how to respond individually but I appreciate all the feedback. I would definitely say lack of z-sorting was my biggest regret. It was intended to have items destroyed on drop (like in WoW) but I could have made it clearer that was going to happen. Thanks for playing!

It was a very interesting game but I was quite surprised by the exploding rabbit at the end. The game could've used some more polishing but besides that, well done!

Did I really just force feed animals until they shit rainbows and exploded? Well that's a game jam for you.
One of the more unusual games I've play so far. Got a good laugh out of me :)

Cool game and nice concept :) Especially liked the ending scene!

A few things that bothered me:

* The feeding animation was really slow, and gets old really fast (since you have to feed the animals so many times in this game). I think I wouldn't have minded so much if it at least did not stop the player so I could keep feeding other animals while the first animal is eating.

* The game was not challenging at all. I think the concept has potential and there are a lot of things that could be added to make this a lot more challenging. Some ideas I thought of:
- Having limited resources so you need to make sure you don't waste food items. E.g., prefer to feed the goats (I don't remember, was it goats?) with leaves and not carrot because the bunnies can only eat the carrots and you don't want to waste them
- Punish the player for feeding the wrong food to the wrong animal

* The limited inventory didn't really feel like it added to the challenge - especially because feeding animation was so slow, I never felt the bottleneck to advancing was walking around to pick up more stuff. And - you only have limited inventory in the first levels which are easy anyway.

In any case, really cool concept and great execution. Thank you for making the game! :)

It was somewhat on the repetitive side and the feeding animation took time, but it's quite the relaxing game. It took me until just before the end to realize the animals were exploding in death. The environmental art looked nice, and the sheep were huge in a good way~
