Interesting concept!

Maybe some visual indicators like pickup range or a cursor change so I don't have to frantically click on the villager as my character approaches it, hehe. :)

Honestly, I really like this game, and the villager sprite is amazing.

The concept and mechanics are simple, yet allow for a lot of complex mechanical interaction.

I also really appreciate that you stayed very strongly on theme.
