demo.gif Try to get an ant to space with a just a quarter and a lot of friends. It is quite difficult! It's OK if you only play a little and move on, but there's a bonus mode if you can get the ant to space.

Controls: Click, press the spacebar, or tap your touchscreen.

Extra Notes: - This game is heavily inspired by the Rhythm Heaven and WarioWare series, most significantly Rhythm Heaven's 'Coin Toss' minigame. (If you haven't played these games, please consider it! They are excellent.) - I started very late on this entry, so it's a bit less polished than I would like! - There is a strange glitch when playing on phones which causes the main menu music to play during gameplay. Oops! It can also happens on computers sometimes... !

noooooo now i made it two past "we're close". ant boy is never going to get to space :(

Really fun game, makes me think of a WarioWare boss level with the whole aesthetic. Extremely responsive to, which is important given the kind of game this is.

Also, I think this is a bug because it only happens on my phone, but when I played this game on my phone the main menu music kept playing throughout the level. I actually quite liked that, the music is fun.

Looks great, it's a simple but nice game.
Challenging too, I couldn't quite make it to space :(

Nice game, simple mechanics. It's very fun and infuriating! The mechanics are great after a few tries to practice, and you definitely hit the emotion of wanting to succeed the higher the ant gets

I give up. After several tries, I got to "half way".

Simple and nice, as always.

Nice job on the feel, I'm impressed by the mix ups in the coin timing. Super satisfying to play, and solid style too.

Only thing I can say is that it seemed hard to judge the speed of the coin as time progressed due to the dark space parallax. But perhaps that's not a bad way to increase the difficulty curve. Great entry.

The first time there was this 'quick flip' I got tricked, after that I managed to get halfway. Really satisfying game. Bookmarking so I can get to space some day :)

Gripping little game. Always love your games for the simple yet effective game design. Just like in old good arcades. Visuals are so WarioWare and sound just fits it. Solid game!

Didn't make it to space, will definitely try again. =)

This is so frustratingly good, I managed to get beyond the halfway point and still messed up, and kept going for ages. I'm glad there appears to be a little lee-way with when you need to press in order to catch the coin. Also love how deceptively random the height the coin reaches, even if it gets progressively larger the higher you go.

This would be super fun as a head to head sort of game. One player on the left side of the screen one on the right. Race to the top. Anyway well done. The difficulty curve was well done. Excluding gameplay, favorite parts were definitely the bonus mode's tune and the end screen. Both very nice.

Overall feel and audio design is awesome. No complaints here really! I can make it half-way pretty consistently, but man I couldn't unlock the bonus.

I just can't get to space, but maybe there is a lesson to be learned here... Maybe ants are not supposed to be in space... Anyways, I had a good time playing this!

Nice little game. I started out using spacebar, and didn't managed to go more than 3 flips in a row. So i switch to using a mouse and suddenly I could do many more flips. Perhaps some differences in the spacebar vs mouse click code? Anyway, great take on the theme.

@hypp Hello! There shouldn't be a difference between spacebar and mouse input. Perhaps you just do better with a mouse!

I have ben checking out your games since I played cardhoard for the first time (I still remember thinking "This is definitely ending up in the top five") :) As alwas a great game! This is one of those amazingly frustrating games where you always want to give it one more try. The graphics are simple and cool, the sound effects fitting but nothing special. The gameplay is incredibly fun and addicting! I am really impressed by how you create one amazing ludumdare game after another. Keep up the great work!

We would be really happy if you tried out our game and told us what you think about it :)

Addicting, simple but very solid art style (beautiful palette, small detail of hands of different colors is nice) also minimal sound design very well implemented. The game is pretty simple but for that reason the execution is perfect. Congratulations!
