Sacrilicious by garethiw

Another peaceful day draws to a close on the island.
As high priest, the tribespeople always gather at this time to listen to you deliver the word of the volcano god.
Often, these tales are ones of happiness, of helping those in need and filling your heart so full of love that no hate can enter it. Tales the tribespeople remember for generations.
But tonight, they'll remember you for a different reason.

I did find it kind of difficult picking up the sprites however, and the lava particles would obliterate what I was carrying.
Music is on point, the graphics are great, game plays great and is fun.
If I had any remark it's that sometimes it's hard to see what I'm picking up, maybe the problem is not there on full screen.
I really liked the camera work, it was call running up and down the hill and then zooming in.
Sprites combined with the lighting looks amazing.
I liked the screen shake and falling rocks.
Voice over for the volcano was another great addition.
The gameplay is definitely fun, it probably wouldn't stretch beyond a 5-10 minute game but it doesn't need to.
Really fun! Nice VO work too!
The mood is so cool!
very nice job ;p
And an extra point for that Simpson reference on the title xD

Again, these are all the immediate thoughts because of how quickly the games goes from 0 to 100 mph, but once I had an understanding of what was going on I was able to quickly follow instructions and finish the game. Though the theme usage is a bit too dark for my taste, I do like the blend between 2d/3d assets, the animations are fluid, and the sound is engaging.
