Games: Behind The Scenes by Gatox
Play this "meta" game! A game about making and playing games. Discover the truth inside a computer game as you fight to keep your players satisfied by building levels constantly.
You live inside a game. You are the real worker who builds the levels people play. But… how many players can you handle?
(Inspired by ideas like Wreck It Ralph, Toy Story and Tron)

Instructions: - You are the character inside the TV, you need to build units according to what the game ask you and use those units to create the levels that the character in the screen is playing. - The units needed for each turn are displayed next to the tv screen, the Factory Room is the room to your left. - You first create basic units and then shape those units into building blocks (You can see a demo of this in the video) - After your units are ready you need to drop them in the screen to send them to the game. - The more units you build, the more trash you create... more trash, more bugs - The room at your right is the Trash Room, you need to collect the trash there and go to the real world to drop your bugs into other games.
- If you are able to create cool levels by building the units, new players will join the game... but more players will require more and more units to be build!

A solid effort with some creative thinking around the theme. Very well done!

It's a bit confusing at first. So I had to try and error and just put stuffs here and there until I understand the objective of the game. Probably better if you hand hold the players more (like, literally tell them in plain text what to do) in the early parts of the game.
Art is gorgeous. Probably took you lots of time to get it look like the way it did. The details in the retro games and also the levels of the players were nice touches. Other than that, I'm simply echoing Mashas' comment.
The other games where you dump the bugs were a really nice feature. Honextly I'm amazed at this entry, my favorite so far. I completely encourage you to keep working on it post jam.
**Cons:** A few sound effects were way too loud. Poor in-game instructions (which you fixed in the description).
This is a fantastic game! Like others say, this is definitely worth pursuing post-jam. Consider adding a short tutorial in the beginning, as it took me forever to figure out how to play before I read the description. Perhaps also try to make transitions between places take less time (or make them seamless), as the majority of the game you are going between rooms and transitioning seems redundant.
One area for improvement would be the speed of the game, it takes a long time to get between areas which I feel slows things down a lot, if you could somehow take away the door transitions I think it would be a lot less grindy. But of course there were time limits to the competition! Good entry!
Come check out my game if you like!

It took my a while to understand what I had to do, and I'm not sure I understand it completely now. A tutorial would be very helpful. I managed to gain 6 players, I don't think it's a good score, but I had fun along the way. After a while, walking between the rooms got a little tedious, but overall this was a great entry!
