Harvest Ninja by gamesient

The future is harsh - even to those reared in the ancient arts of stealth and fruit pilfering.
A lone ninja wanders upon a desolate farmland, its few patches of soil under heavy robotic guard. Using the nearby seeds and water, they set out to gather produce for the sake of their poor village.
The fruity thief steels their heart. Robot sentries do not need to eat. They shall not miss a few melons.

Instructions
- Grab a bag of seeds to seed farmable land
- Grab a bucket to water the fields
- Pick up the fruit when it's ripe
- Bring it to your truck
- Watch out for robot sentries!
- When you have the requisite number of fruit, leave with your truck!
Controls
- WASD or arrow keys to move
- SPACE to interact with your environment

Theme
Combine 2 Incompatible Genres: the idea was to take a farming simulator à la Harvest Moon and add stealth mechanics. A farming simulator where you farm somebody else's land and need to stay out of sight.

The biggest issue for me is that gameplay-wise it becomes a bit of a waiting-game. More testing your patience than your game-skills. A few more enemy types or challenges would have added a lot!
Another thing (this is a very small issue though) is about the ninja: he (or she?) should be able to move around more freely than just to the tiles up/down/left/right. It's a ninja after all!!! Same thing goes for carrying a bucket of water and a melon at the same time ;-)
It was great seeing you at the real world gathering. Too bad I was a little to stressed out with my own entry to socialize properly.
"Retry" and "quit to menu" didn't worked for me.
The harvesting element has a lot of potential!
Congratulations. Really fun
