- the tutorial takes a reaaaally long time (maybe an ability to skip it)
- the tutorial didn't really explain that memories at the top fade if not clicked, you kind of have to figure that out by yourself.
- off centered text is triggering me :P
- very limited options (there seem to only be like 5 memories, would like to see more)
- game stays the same difficulty (perhaps increase the amount of memories shown overtime, or make them fade faster)
Although those seem like a lot of negative points, take them as feedback and perhaps inprove on some of them, and your game will become really nice. The artstyle and concept of the game are quite nice :D
Liked it, hope to see more!
While the slow text builds suspense it was way to slow for my liking and I grew tired of basically waiting for text to appear. The game in the background didn't keep me interested in the downtime between text as there wasn't much variety or much of a challenge. I'm sure there is an interesting story here but I couldn't bring myself to go beyond ~50 points.
It's a good narrative game with a few flaws, these are small issues and if you can iron them out you can make a really interesting story driven game.
The game is simple but effective. I would have loved to see something unexpected, random events or something like that. solid entry tho. good job!
This is a good idea, if you would make the memories disappear faster, or make multiple at the same time, you would have something interesting and fun to play.
This is a good start, but not a very good end product.
Sorry for all the negativity... best wishes man!
I think that there's too much time between the lines, sometimes you need more than ten points it seems, and that really calls attention to the fact that there aren't many different kinds of memories. I don't really see the theme represented in this game, other than as a fictional construct that bad memories take up space in your thoughts. It didn't have a real mechanical use here. Perhaps if there were a kind of capacity that gets filled up by bad memories but not by good thoughts and when that capacity is reached then you have nothing but bad memories in your thoughts and have to get rid of them by thinking good things or something.
I can see this working as an aspect of a larger game, or with further expanded mechanics; different thought sizes, speeds maybe.
