You're in a very similar design space to my entry, which is always interesting to see and compare approaches!

I found the rewards for completing missions a little stingy - I would have liked to feel like I was making progress rather than just breaking even, but it might just be because I wasn't playing very well.

@mrnyarlathotep thank you very much for your feedback. The rewarding system is a bit unfinished I must admit - the goal was such that power is limited and you can only get limited amount and survive till you finish the "quest".

The game controls seem to have a bit of input lag, not really sure if that's my pc but thought I'd mention it. The game is pretty fun, although with the randomness of the asteroids there is a chance that basically you're entire path is blocked and you're unable to avoid damage, which happened to me.

Anyway, apart from that it was a solid entry.

Cool game! The control could be a litte bit more direct. And maye you can use a lifebar instead of numbers.

I liked it! Two things I really liked: how it cut you off from shooting, and that you could destroy your power upgrades. Something I would have liked to see would be enemies that move, maybe even if it was just random movement. The planet names were fun too! Great job!

I love the kind of polygon art that was in this. And the menu and quest system worked well too.

I would have liked to see more responsive controls when flying though. Or alternatively, that there was an option to upgrade the ship speed at the docks :)

I really love the player ship graphics, they look great! I also liked the music a lot.

I wasn't able to complete a mission, it always told me that I wasn't able to find the villains :/

One thing that was a bit distracting was that your shots followed in front of you, but it was basically the only way to be able to hit enemies (as they didn't have any sideways movement). Having enemies move sideways and your shots move independently of you could improve the "feel" of the gameplay.

A fun little spaceshooter, well done!

I love the low poly 3D models, they're absolutely gorgeous!

The gameplay in general is on the right path, but it needs some changes (in my opinion of course):
1. When you try to pilot the spaceship to either left or right it feels pretty slow. This is because of the slow
acceleration. I like games like these to be very responsive, and your controls are unfortunately the opposite in
my opinion, but it's luckily an easy fix (remove the acceleration or make it faster).

2. The bullet you shoot ALWAYS have the same x-position as the spaceship. This makes it incredibly difficult to
shoot anything down because you also have to dodge meteors and enemy bullets. I think the reason the bullets do
this is because they're child objects of the spaceship

If these two "complaints" got fixed it would be a killer game for a 72-hour jam! This is also the reason I gave it a high score eventhough I found some design "errors".

Good luck in the future, and have a nice day

@hunttis, @funkyhippo Thank you very much for the comments! The shooting is not a design choice even though it makes gameplay a bit more interesting. It is a just a bug.
Thank you for playing! :)

Hey !
Nice game, I really liked the ambiance and the music of your game ! Congrats on the music, a lot of people don't pay attention and end up with a good game with no ambiance at all ^^
The design was cool, and eventhough the idea of your game was quite simple, I really was into the thing.
I think that it was maybe a bit hard to avoid meteors, enemies' bullets and collecting stars at the same time : maybe there was too much meteors (I crashed into a lot quickly, had some hitbox issues that are probably really quick to fix).
Overall, a pretty nice game! Keep up the good work !

Heya! :) I just wanted to say that I tried your game and I loved it.

The graphics look great, the mood is perfect for a space game, and I really liked the music (I kept the game open after I played it just to listen to the music). Also, I liked the references in the planet names.

Overall, a nice little game that deserves the high score I gave it. Out of the games I’ve played so far I played this one the longest! Seriously, great job!!

Fun game, nice music. I found that since shooting costs energy it was often better to not shoot at all and instead to treat every contract as a 'dodging mission', which rewarded me with more energy but also took a little fun out of the game.

I found it very annoying that the ship took so long to move once you pressed a button. Also there was no point in shooting other ships. As they were always shooting there was no way for you to shoot another ship without getting hit. Otherwise nice game.

The ship could be a little more sensitive to controls, but other then that the game's not half bad.

The music remind me those of Mass effect. Excellent sci-fi theme;-) Speaking about the gameplay I can just say it is a good one...I have something quite alike for my compo. But you add more context and details with those window info including the mission, cost, reward and so on. Very nice work!

Really nice game to play with amazing mechanics, but needs some polishing:
- music replays between levels (it would be fun if it would play without restaring).
- spaceship steering is a little bit unresponsive.

Thank you all for your feedback!

@theflyingkeyboard, @toonteamj, @smbe19 Ship steering is a bit hard by design. If it was very responsive it would be very easy to avoid asteroids and ships. A bit tricky controls make you think ahead which you can since you see ahead. Nevertheless thank you very much for your comments!
