GAME UPDATE 05.12.2017(after 2 hours of Jam ending): Fix some bugs that can break quests and the game.
@CSdoesCS, wow, thanks! The typo is corrected. Also, from the artist:
@PowerSpark, we think we caught that little bug, thank you. :)
Keep up the good work!
I enjoyed the couple of minutes I played the game for, and I understand the hard work needed to create something like this!. Our team also worked hard to create a game for the jam. You can check it out [here](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/jazzy-beats)! :whale:
My final picture in the end! I had a huge amount of fun playing this game. The graphics are just amazing and I loved the humor as it kept going. The chaos and the clutter worked incredibly well with the theme and overall the game is very well done.
One issue I had with the game involved the first character that needed to be placed onto the screen. There was a time when I accidentally lost him, but I couldn't place him back on nor was it necessary. I guess that isn't so much of a big deal, but there were a lot of moments where I was able to remove some things and completely cover other objects, which kind of took away from the game. For example, my red present is currently behind the 120% off button, and I'm sure I might of also removed some things that weren't supposed to be removed at that point (not the ones I had to deliberately remove that is). Anyway, not too much of a big deal since it actually made the game easier for me, but I also felt like "Aww, it's not as chaotic as it probably should be."
Weird topic to mention, but another issue I had also came with the boobies. Their resizing box takes up a huge amount of space compared to their actual size, which also made them incredibly difficult to find when I accidentally dropped them onto the screen. Like, I see them radiating right in the middle of the screen! But it took so long for me to finally figure out which handle belonged to them. That's also when I realized that the resizing windows could probably use a little change to help differentiate between understanding which box belongs to which project. I'm not exactly sure what the solution would be for something like that, maybe something like making them disappear when not in use or having some way to lock the objects in place, but I feel like it's worth mentioning.
Other than those issues, this game was really incredible and a huge blast to play. Awesome job!
The only issue I had was that it's often hard to resize / move the correct element. Some ways to fix this could be to make it so that clicking on an element selects it, and locks resizes to that element. Also you could make so that clicking in the same place multiple times scrolled through which element in that same place you were selecting.
This is a very cool and original entry. Well done! :)
