@gruni hehe that's my favorite feature of the game xD
@banzi yea we didnt have time to implement that but we will work on it, thx ^-^
Didn't like the fact that you can buy urself to death. Don't let people buy an item if they can't afford it and still have 1 soul left at least
The look of the game is perfect though. Also, should probably not let the character O.D. on items, but it was pretty funny.
Music is really nice too, especially liked the shop one
The game mechanics are pretty simple but the global mood make it work well. I loved how juicy feels the upgrade when looking at the store : D
I think this game would be more amazing if there were "short level bounds". I think the player can manage waves in a tiny space, but anyway great job. The overall game is solid to think of a post jam release, with some more combat mechanics : )
I thought the game was fun. It was pretty simple and kinda reminded me of a rhythm game at first. I liked the music and I really liked the little shop the power ups UI looked really cool.
I see you want to add more enemies. I think that will really spice up the game b/c the 2 enemies by wave 10 I was ready for another new type of enemy. But for this jam it's pretty good.
I think maybe the parallax speeds could of been adjusted, something felt a tiny bit off but I couldn't place it. But the background looked really cool
Combat is simple, it would be better to have more options like blocking attacks or dodging. Also, enemies could be more diverse.
But overall it's a good hack and slash game.
@caranha Yea we're sorry about that ;( there is no Mac support for pygame as far as I know. We're planning on making a linux version soon though!
