Feed tofu to a bunion.

Mouse + Keyboard required - click the page once to lock the mouse. No inverted mouse option yet, apologies.

Keep feeding him until the credits.

Technologies used: C++, Emscripten, WebAssemnbly, WebGL, HTML5, Urho3D, nvim, blender, GIMP, Ardour, Audacity.

Tested on Chrome Desktop and Firefox Desktop.

Unfortunately we couldn't get it working with mobile browsers, laptop/desktops only.

Known issues: Windows 8 multi monitor doesn't like the mouse being locked, if the camera starts going crazy that may be why.

Everything's really satisfying about this game. The tofu gun and the crunch sounds... yeaaaaaah! (EDIT: Oh, and the way the blocks break into little blocks! So perfect.) I'd really like to see more of this character.

I'd totally play this again when it's easier to get around; the camera has some odd behaviors (something to do with being close to the edge of the map), but it's nothing unusual for a game jam. Thanks for this!

Surprisingly cute! I'd love to be able to climb up higher to keep feeding my big tofu-loving buddy. Pretty solid for a game jam!

Extremely simple game but it's a blast to play anyway! I'd love you see more functionality or the ability to charge a throw (that or being able to move vertically).

Ran into an issue on the second guy where he was facing down and wouldn't face up. Could no longer feed my pal tofu :(

Liked the monster and the cute little tofus. But how did you try to implemate the Theme? I had the feeling it gets easier to feed my monster instead of harder! :)

Aww, look at this cutie :D

Sometimes camera kept bugging on me, and as Alex said, I'd like to see more functionality. But overall, really nice!

Well that was fun :). Not sure why 'it' loves tofu so much, but I was more than happy to keep feeding it.

Just a suggestion would be that when it reaches a certain level of full, another appears, making you run between them, making it a bit harder.

Hi I really want to play but the controls don't seem to be working. I press WASD and LeftClick and nothing happens. What I'm I doing wrong?

@GerardB strange :| I've tested it on the latest Chrome and Firefox on Windows 7 and Linux. Maybe you have a plugin installed? Try using an incognito window in Chrome (Ctrl+N).

Fun and cute. Love the monster's silly comments! Mouse/Camera kept jumping for me though and variable tofu-throwing-strength would come in handy when trying to feed a really big monster :D

The game's not working for me, on chrome, the game loads but the controls do nothing. Music works. On firefox, it's just blank and doesn't even load. On a Mac if that makes any difference.

@tuism we're going to look at the controls on chrome, we think it may happen with a background tab, or be dependent on certain refereshes. Are you using Firefox Quantum? Anyway thanks for the debug feedback!

@eldogg, good call, I pulled the tab into its own window and it worked, but that's weird.

Anyhoo: Full of personality and charm, despite the mechanics being not very interesting. The web version lagged when you spam too much tofu but that's a tech hurdle that a standalone build will have no problem with.

It's... quirky :)

Even though the mechanic is very simple it's actually a lot of fun! The bigger the creature got the harder it became to feed it. one critique: Maybe give the scene a little more looks because it's maybe a little too simple.

IDK how describe it but something about this game made it hard to not have at least a little smile. The sound ffects and artwork are fantastic.

The incognito window did the trick! Let's just say it was a unique experience (and reminded me of a vegan friend of mine XD) I enjoyed it ;)

My heart melted. The best feed-a-big game I've played on this jam. I should make it in vr for a more intuitive sense of such a big ball.

Well made. I like the character model and its reactions. The mouse controls are a little sensitive but it's a fun game.

First of all, heeeee is soooooo cute!!!

Concerning the graphics you did a great job, you did a good job texturing him.
Concerning the audio it was great. The sound effect was real cute as well! And the music was lit.

Overall I like this game so much. I had an amazing time playing it. Thank you so much for this experience and good luck in the future! Have an awesome day, and I hope to see you in the next jam!

Any Slime Rancher inspiration here? Even the shot sounds reminded me of it, which is a good thing. Even though it was a really simple game, the rolling of the monster and having to change angle to match the mouth height was engaging enough, and in general it was super satisfying to feed the monster due to all the nice effects you had going on. Could possibly add to the game by making him more mobile but I'm not sure how annoying that'd get. Either way, nice little game, the random ending did make me chuckle!

The game won't load for me, trying with google chrome 63.0.3239.84. It stay in the "Loading..." Screen forever, or at least for 5 minutes.
