Glitched by tomer_cool
What gets worse the more you have from it? glitches... it's glitches. Play a game where each level gets more annoying and painful by having a different kind of glitch in it.

The only "glitch" that actually affected gameplay was the completely random warp that would stop you and then move you forward. This caused you to randomly be pushed off of the one block wide platforms if the timing was right. I couldn't tell if there was any way to predict it, but it was just annoying and I ended up moving slowing and carefully so I wouldn't have to start over from random timing.
When I died to the first enemy and was teleported back to the beginning I thought it might be one of the "glitches." You should really add a death animation or something so that the player knows why they are being teleported.
The jump felt a little too floaty. It was annoying having to wait for him to fall to get over small elevation changes. I found out that you can press down to fall faster, but it doesn't really help that much. I feel like it should go down faster when I release the jump button - how platformers usually modify jump height.
I think that the game succeeds visually. I like the art style, especially the tree.
The "glitch" aesthetic is pulled off quite well.
That was crazy!
The glitch effects are very cool. That must have been quite a lot of work to make all those glitches. The final level is just cruel - especially horizontal warping while jumping onto 1x1's. Brutal!
fun game! just wish you had gone a little farther with it (audio glitches, more challenging levels, etc.) didn't really feel like there was much of a challenge
- I found the transition from level 2 -> 3 was a bit too quick in terms of the "level" of glitchiness; it goes from a few rectangles out of place to every single texture being replaced with a text atlas, which ends up making it feel a bit too artificial IMO. This would have been more effective if there were more intermediary glitches.
- I would have liked to see more glitches that affect gameplay, either like the little stretch+pop that moves the player, or even just things that are visually distracting or deceiving enough in order to make the platforming a bit more involved
- Audio would have been a plus (there's only so much you can do in 48h though, haha)
Also way to make me feel super old by being a whole decade younger and still making competent games :p
When you enter the third level and the tiles get all numbered was really cool. It still felt like a level and was fun to walk through. I wished there was more of a challenge then some parcour and jumping over bad guys.
However still very cool game, and incredible that you done all those effects in such a short time.
Glitches are love, glitches are life <3
From a game feel side I felt the player/gravity was too floaty. You'll want to have tight controls, especially If you're playing a ninja! One to keep in mind for next time. All in all, great work! :)
(Oh, and I beat the game in 167 seconds. New record?)
It would be better if you could "stop" a jump by releasing the key early, like in lots of platformers. It's annoying to having to wait for your player to fall down because for most jumps in the level, the jump is too high ...
Some audio would have been nice, especially if it's also glitched :-)
Nice variation on the platform genre!
Unfortunately you didn't have enough time to add sound effects(you could glitch those too lol).
I loved it, congrats.
Well done, really like this game! The first completely glitched level caught me by surprise. I like the concept and the artstyle, but the gameplay was a bit too forgiving and the jumping feels too floaty. If this would be polished, and there would be more levels this would be awesome!
Good job!
But it is a solid, even if a bit sluggish, platformer , finished and with the level of polish it needs.
So good job.
I liked graphics and mechanics.
Interesting, does this game have not expected glitches?
