But overall, this was an amazing game, great job!
Glad you like the art and audio, have a nice day!
Amazingly well done; gameplay, tone, graphics, audio - it all fits - and how it fits!
It's a little like a Darkest Dungeon typing gambling game. I love it.

Wanna be the marketing guy ?
Thank you for your feedback we appreciate it a lot! Big part of the game is chosing wisely between fighting against the beasts or doing a little sacrifice to avoid the combat, you can estimate the damage you'll take by making some simple maths with the enemy attributes and your typing skills... Use your wallet at your own convenience!
Ps : I did indeed find a way to cheat through rooms : you can overpay an item at the shop or pay the blood cost of an ennemy then rapidely press space bar to continue to the next room. (it allow you to continue with 0 blood points. until a Brute fight appear at least ^^")
aweseome artwork!
awesome Music! It represents the mood very well! And i really like the music adeout on death
the fighting system, nice animations and good idea
what i disliked:
the fighting system gets very fast repetitive
it gets fast boring after optaining the excalibur^^
but overall awesome game i like it weill done all of you
About the font, you could be certain about that, but well, aesthetics... :P
Like I said on twitch, I'm left handed so using AZEQSD is not easy for me, but I really like your game mechanics.
Like you said adding the possibility to use 789456 keys on keypad is a good idea :)
Also, wow, how did you get those sprites so crisp with Unity! I feel like the engine typically crushes the heck outta everything, haha.
The gameplay is simple and satisfying. I do think that the rng is a bit unbalanced. You can encounter mobs that do too much damage very early.
I could not progress further than level 16.
However, it is normal that very quickly you must not ever get hit or you pretty much lost?
Great game, a lot of well choosen inspiration :)
I did play multiple time :)
The mood is also awesome, thank to the music and the gorgeous graphism
Something I don't like is the time I have to wait for the Game Over screen to disappear. It's like telling me that I'm bad at typing games and wants me to feel bad about it as long as possible :(
We know the game is kinda hard at the moment, we didn't have time to make audio, art, mechanics, polish and also balance (Even though I've spent around 4 hours on it), but is not that easy so, I'm sorry about this one.
The items you buy actually shows your stats changes in the bottom left corner, weapons usually makes you deal more damage each time you press a key, defense reduces the incoming damage from the enemies, if you have a defense of 3 and the enemy deals 8 damage, then you only take 5.
About the death screen and the combat results yep, could be a good addition to the game... We had many stuff planned, but time tho
1. Played the whole game without sacrificing even once on encounter. Not sure if it's just me or the balance is a bit off, but I would usually gain more than sacrifice.
2. Once I get a build with ~15 armor and ~4 damage, I only get weaker stuff in shops, which is a bit annoying. Technically, the build seems more than enough to cope with encounters, but the willing to grow is not satisfied.
3. To be honest, I did sacrifice once on the 60-something-th room. I had ~150 hp and the sacrifice was up to 10, but I was left with ~50 hp afterwards, which was pretty disappointing. No cheats or special action combinations were used during the game, so not even sure how to reproduce it.
4. I really played the whole time with excitement and didn't get bored for a second, but I would still appreciate some kind of goal or winning point. Or maybe the game getting so challenging that you have to lose and get some score. But maybe I just haven't gotten to that point.
Well, those are some minor things I could notice, but all in all, it's a great game. Really well done, enjoyed every second of it, thank you guys!
Made it till room 74 :D
Gj anyway !
mechanic
I love the scene transitions and the fadeout of the music when you die is awesome. I have the problem that the music somehow goes out of sync when switching tabs. But that's no big deal.
The only real complaint I have, is that it is too hard for my taste, even for a roguelike. But well, maybe I'm just not good enough yet. Going to practice a bit more...
I'd also add some kind of timer while fighting and a scoring system to give the player a bit of feedback. But that's all.
Otherwise very nice. Good Work!
As you stated, the difficulty is clearly a problem in this game and we're currently working on new updates and features for the game, so, consider joining our [Discord channel](https://discord.gg/tpPyMcr) to help us and send some suggestions <3
And a rat is amazing :)
Have a good day!
One minor gripe for me though: the game over screen is quite long, I wish I could restart faster. :)
I also don't like how if you miss a key, you take damage. The very nature of this mechanic encourages fast key pressing and key misses are bound to happen. And missing a key already carries the punishment of not dealing damage (since every damage point is essential), and letting the enemy get that little bit closer to dealing damage to you anyway.
Despite that, I played it through a few times because I enjoyed it, but ultimately turned if off because of these issues.
It is also super hard for me haha but still. I think it may benefits also from a way to restart a game faster :)
Really really great !
I played through again. Helped to think of words that started with that letter. Now I wish the button options responded to keyclicks, so I could progress without switching to mouse.
Also, game's page looks beautiful! :) I like when someone leaves time for designing that as well.
The graphics was really well made, everything extremely polished and well put together. Music fit the mood well. So I enjoyed it even if I barely got to see any of it. I liked that I could kill myself in the shop too!
but the balance or experience suffers from it's randiffcultness of enemies and shops.
It is strong at graphics and audio, has a good mood and to me it is a perfekt take on the theme.
The music gets repetitive and would be nice if you could randomly chose the next loop and add also some ambience to every room, like dripping water, some rats, bats, and echoes to enhance the sensation of emptiness and loneliness.
