Hoarding Havoc by Bookworm31
Welcome to Hoarding Havoc! Play as a mighty hero on an quest to collect treasure. However, you seem to have difficulty distinguishing treasure and trash. You pick up everything, even if it is just a rock! Of course, the more you carry, the slower you go; and the more opportunities there are to find more loot! But beware, if you exceed your carrying capacity you will fall, exhausted, unable to continue. So come one, come all, test your skills and see how much treasure you can carry out!

High scores are currently only local to the current game session.
Mac/Linux builds are untested; Only the Windows build has been thoroughly tested. (I do know that Mac has an issue with 16:10 options showing up in the menu, instead of the 16:9 but haven't found a fix for it. The 16:10 ratio results in some portions of the screen being cut off.)
Don't forget to have fun!

My second game went more poorly, got horded by a goblins, and couldn't help hoarding their rocks, and never made any forward progress.
I like the simple card game mechanics. Could use a little more explanation - had no idea what the "uses" icon was until after I sat through the "tutorial", but I managed to figure out what all of the rest of the icons were during my first game. Maybe a flag or road icon would be better for the "distance to goal" value.
Overall a great job!!

Anyways, I really liked this one. I wasn't expecting to see a card game here that's for sure :P
Second run I was literally buried by goblins under a pile of rocks as they were constantly trowing 3 at me for every one I returned to them...
The "every inventory item is a card" card-based mechanics were quite interesting. Although randomness played a huge part, you still had to be strategic in the use of cards during combat. Use all your heavy items, and you might not have any weapons for the next encounter. And if you do not, you might accidentally overload yourself between encounters.
This formed a solid core for the game. The way the cards affected your stats, both when held in your "inventory" as well as when used worked really well, especially combined with the various effects of the enemy attacks.
The tutorial was a nice touch, although it progressed a bit too fast. It would probably have worked better as "click to continue", rather than as a slideshow, but that is a small detail.
The feedback through sound was sufficient - a few custom sound effects e.g. for each monster would have added even more to the mood.
Ultimately, the game mechanics were interesting and varied, but the events were perhaps a bit too random, which sometimes locked you in situations, where you couldn't do anything to prevent losing a few "turns" after. But it was an intriguing game nonetheless, which encourages replaying. Nice work!
