Ragnor by Faloon

[raw]
made by Faloon for LD 41 (JAM)

Use your old fashioned terminal tech to receive and send signal communications from these, um, floating atoms? Spaceships? Anyhow, get to safe a few fellows and realize, it did not really happen. Or did it?

A mix between a text adventure, hacking game and a physics / space sim.

This was somewhat confusing, although it looks like it has some promise at least.

@blubberquark Click on the spheres. There are two hints. Try the console help, too.

hi @faloon, the game seems blocked on the loading page, with a bunch of javascript errors in the console, don't know if related to https://gamejolt.com or to your game (Using Chrome on Ubuntu).

Hi @nidup. I am unable to test with Chrome but it works well with my Firefox and Safari. It could also be that your java installation on Ubuntu needs a fix.

Okay so I spent about 20 minutes figuring this out, I signalled password to A, signalled telemetry to get it to respond. Then when I went to set its XYZ, it flew off and I never saw it again. How am I supposed to get the coordinates for the stranded ship?
The constant wobbly camera is super disorienting, and really hurts the experience.

Thanks for trying @pogo. I guess you came further than most. The camera frustrated me too. I ran out of time before I was able to fix it. Try clicking on the other spheres to find the ship. It is not coordinates you need to get there though.
