Grace and Mercy Eternal (GAME) is a small game that pits you against an enemy AI in a shooting gallery. Here, bullets are your currency. Both you and you enemy are dying. Your only hope is to shoot the spheres. Hit, and you regain health (1%, 2% or 5%, depending on the tiers). Miss, and you lose 2% of your health. Hitting also nets you coins, which you can use to heal yourself (2 coins = 1% health).

The AI is bound by the same rules as you, and "targets" a sphere by marking it in red. One second later, it shoots, and can hit or miss. If it misses, like you, it loses health.

The spheres, as it turns out, were supposed to be people (their life gives you coins - their life is currency), but our models and rigs just wouldn't work with us, so spheres they remained.

Still, for a first game by a bunch of university students, I'm pretty chuffed. At least now they know the meaning of the phrase "at some point, you have to ship".

Hey, I am about to test your game. Before doing that though, I already suggest you to consider using a different way of storing binary files. itch.io is a great website to show-off your games and could get you more plays.

Played the game and couldn't get through the first part. Seems like I fall right through the platform. Also, I can't see any text on any buttons but that might be because I am on Linux and I used an emulator for the game
