Procházka by Daniel Jenikovský

[raw]
made by Daniel Jenikovský for LD 44 (JAM)

prochazka.jpg

Procházka can be described more like an interactive animation rather than a game. At start we wanted to convey an atmosphere of a relaxing walk to forest. We deviated from the theme because we found it a little too similar to the theme of previous Ludum Dare (Sacrifices must be made). We've tried to follow theme "Color changes everything" but it was not working together with the desired atmosphere, we thought of at the start. So we made this. Enjoy and leave a comment if you were able to get a hat!

All assets were created during game-jam.

Amazing work guys! It kinda reminds me of Amanita Design in style. Well, I guess all Czech games are good

Hello, can you please provide some details? Browser, operating system? I've tested it both on Windows and Mac / Chrome and Firefox and it worked so it must be some specific issue.

Anyways, thanks for your opinion, I am glad you've enjoyed it!

Wow, that was a surreal experience! I really enjoyed it, didn't get the hat though!

By the way, the HTML version does seem to be working. I think it just isn't showing any loading bar, just need some patience.

I guess that there's no actual gameplay, but as an interactive piece of art - this is awesome! Very atmospheric and pretty. I definitely wish to see more like this one.

Beautiful little experience. The minimalist artwork works very well, and it was fun to click around to see what was interactable!

The artwork was really stunning and the music was really dreamy and relaxing. Great job on this game. The animation was also very beautiful :)

This is gorgeous, congratulations! Extremely gentle and relaxing, I shared this with some friends because it's a delicate piece of art.

As a short art experience, this a nice piece :) Great art style and animations. The background song fits the mood perfectly. Too bad, there is no actual meaningful gameplay (I didn't find any, at leatst. Other than clicking some of the foliage and send it flying)

You are really good at enhancing the atmosphere, I was submerged on this world that you created. I agree with you that the theme of this Ludum dare is quite similar to the other one, but maybe you should've tried some other outputs before giving up the theme.

Good work and let's hope you like the theme next LD!

Very nice artwork and I liked the thematic connection. A bit more gameplay would be nice, but this was already very moody. Nice job!

The art is really good, also the atmosphere is very good, that is why you got 5* in mood, and graphics from us, but I dont consider this as a game, and because this is a game jam - i cannot vote high in other categories (except Audio). Btw jsem taky čech :flag_cz: a nechápu, proč jste hru pojmenovali česky! Přeju hodně štěstí! [Also reminds me a lot Amanita Design]

I'd love you could make a full long game out of this experience. You have to tell us your Czech secrets! XD as @skill347 pointed out!(I'm joking, don't want to say that this is incredibly good just because of where you come from, but yet I think that different cultures bring richness drawing from their background, and I'm amazed by the athmosphere and graphical choices you made.)
