Nice concept and gameplay. Not really sure if this is satisfying the theme though..

Really enjoyed the concept even when I had to take blind leaps of faith. The core concept is strong but I don't see its connection to the theme -- maybe Your Time is Currency? Great mood.

I like the game idea and the graphics. This is a concept that could be explored further.

I liked it, the music was nice and would make a decent game if expanded upon.

I liked the idea but I cannot find the theme link. Maybe it's me.

the gameplay is clear and polishing is at a standard level for a ld compo.

thanks, keep working on!

Nice idea and nice game.

I think that you purposely deviated from the theme of LD44.

Graphics is definitely A+ since low-poly and overall a decent submission

Congratulations!

Cool little idea, enjoyed exploring this universe, and the atmosphere is really good: the art and the music really fit the main concept.

My only problem was that there are **no checkpoints**. Because even if for the first time a puzzle is really interesting, and it's worth to... for example: turn around 20 times... it gets a bit frusrating at second because there is no "I solved it!" feeling after.

I recommend continuing this game, keep it up!

It's a pun of course! Your life progresses like the blocks--when you move backwards, so do they. *You* are currency!

We've all been waiting for a game about walking backwards since *The Beginner's Guide* came out, and I think this is a fun puzzly take on it. The smooth bass and pads in the background add to the otherworldly ambience as well. Neat stuff.

Very cool take on the theme! Surprised more people aren't getting it.

It seems like an awesome puzzle mechanic, but after the initial hurdle of figuring out what's going on the game isn't all that puzzling.

Some of the platforms were a bit tedious but I think if there were checkpoints that would make it all good.

Cool game; some of the ground parts do not tessellate together, with short drops. The world seems a little bit too dark, and you way want to make it a tad lighter. Like @tattomoosa said, you may want to add in checkpoints, or some save game system.

The concept is cool and unique ! I would love to see this pushed further. I didn't really understand the link with the theme thought.

This was very cool. I loved the mood it created. The decision to have almost no instruction at the start was a nice touch, it put me into a mental space of looking for signs about what was happening. The one bit of text about not being able to move more in that direction was essential - at first I thought I was stuck on some bits of ground, but later its true meaning became clear. But without it I think I would have gotten stuck, so I feel you struck just the right balance.

The mood was enhanced nicely by the gentle ambient music, which meshed well with the art style, but there was this cool dissonance between that mood and the tension of trying to back up just so without falling off... that duality peaked for me at the last of the moving platforms that go over open space (ie stepping onto the second-to-last moving bit).

Really unique and well-realized idea, well done!

I really like the mechanic you used here - it has a lot of potential, and could definitely lead to an interesting game beyond the scope of this jam. It took a couple moments to pick up, but once I got it I was able to progress pretty easily.

I'll agree with others that checkpoints and an ending might've been nice - I think they would add a lot. (Getting across the moving bridge was frustrating after having done it once already)

Still, this was a very cool entry, and I think this mechanic has a lot of potential!

Cool idea, but it sometimes felt annoying to rewind properly, and platforms moved a bit erratically.
