Steal as much forbidden treasure as you can before you run out of air. Greed is a deadly sin! The more loot you carry, the heavier you are, and the harder it will be to return to the surface. Don’t let avarice become your undoing…

Instructions:

  • Tilt or tap to drift left or right.
  • Grab treasure to sink and score.
  • Grab air to rise and survive.
  • How much treasure can you get?

Fun concept. I got to the bottom with way too much treasure and no bubbles to return to the surface. Some kind of buoyancy meter would be really helpful so I can see how much I'll need to pick up to surface. Great assets, though some more animation would be a plus. Impressive work overall.

Well done! This is a 100% complete game in 48 hours, and that's intensely awesome. It could of course use some polish, but dang, does it look good.

Excellent work! Really pretty. Feels like a simpler ridiculous fishing. I got a perfect score! I think this needs a restart button for when you're screwed.

@handle Thanks for leaving feedback! The buoyancy meter is an interesting idea if we decide to keep iterating on the design.

Great job, a very complete feeling game.

Mechanic is really good. I liked that the risk/reward.

Would like to see some more freaky stuff/hazards as I dived down.

Was a lot of fun.

This was a really clever idea and a great use of the theme! One issue I noticed though was that if you're using arrow keys, it seems like the amount each press of the key moves you increases with each reset, to the point where on like the 5th game I was moving over half the width of the screen in one press. Still, this is an amazing product in a single jam. Great job!

Nicely thought out system! As I played I realised how to take advantage of going up and down, and how you actually have (at least) 2 goes around the 'track'.
Also, great art!

Cool stuff! The artwork is really nice, lots of neat little touches. The gameplay definitely has a limited life-span due to the mechanics but it was a strong effort at a very difficult to work with theme. Good work!

I like it! Simple and effective! It seems like the game need to be played a bunch of times in a row for you to get an understanding of the system and the constraints, so an easy reset button would be really helpful just so you could play it a bunch of times to figure it out.

I really like menu/start screens that use the normal control mechanics, so I enjoyed that opening screen quite a bit!

Like as said Eldogg, The risk/reward are great, maybe less bubble, but it's was good, a good exemple of game design

Nice job! Keyboard controls are really sensitive, but the mouse can rectify.
My best score after five games is 54900 ^^

Simple and effective, you did really well with the theme, it's kind of relaxing to play despite that stressful audio atmosphere :)

@grentacular Aha, you found a bug :) Good catch, yeah we will definitely fix it for a future version.

@joror Oh that's interesting. So you found a way to go down then up in two large paths to keep collecting treasure? Never thought of that strategy, but it's great to know as we iterate on the design.

The risk-reward factor of this game is very well executed. I had a great thrill when I was going down at a very high speed, trying to grab just enough bubbles to survive, but not enough to end my run. The fact that it's a bit weird to tell whether or not it's viable to grab more bubbles without ruining the run is a bit of a disappointment, but still, the game works like a charm and feels great.

The presentation is quite great too, with awesome visuals and fitting sound effects. There's good harmony in this entry. I'd really like to see how you could further expand a game like this, since it's brimming with potential.

That's pretty much all I've got to say about it. [In behalf of my team](https://twitter.com/WhalesAndGames), I congratulate you once again for a superb execution. Kudos! :whale:

Splendid ! The theme is really respected and the gameplay is neat ! It's both nice and fun.
First time I got all the treasure and reached the bottom, unable to rise up...

Super, super polished! Dark graphics, and really atmospheric sound effects to complement them.

Gameplay is well designed: you have to choose your path carefully to get down _and_ back up, and anything that goes wrong is entirely your own fault.

The level feels fair and well balanced; too bad there's only one of it.

I think there's a bug when you restart: the controls (left/right arrow keys) get more sensitive each time. Or does it depend on your highscore, to fit the theme even more? ;)
