Mortal: the fate of cells by pwroff
Mortal is an arcade game where cells go on missions. depending on their type, cells have different missions to complete.
/game/img?e=LD44&gid=40179&u=/ how is this related to the theme “life is currency”? my take is this: cells are the currency of our bodies. even if we do not often think of their work; what, when and why we are doing what we do - this is exactly what it means to be alive, but also what it means to be mortal. /game/img?e=LD44&gid=40179&u=/
during the missions, cells act as currency. you can loose one cell type, but in return receive two cells of a different type. there’s always a trade off, but also a price to pay.
after each completed mission, the next one is always harder and more challenging.

Great Job!
Thanks for trying the game out!
I'm happy you tried the game!
as of now there's no endgame as such. basically missions will be generating until game reaches mission number 2147483647, then it's probably going to crash. you win when the game crushes.
agreed regarding background music
it could work for a mobile game i would suggest you finish it and put to the store :P
but add some twists to be unique, overall it was fun to play, thanks for the game ^_^
While I really liked the white wire-frame aesthetic, it became hard to look at.
Visuals were great, my only regret being that it misses a soundtrack that would create a great mood.
I'm happy that your wife pushed you to complete this entry! :D
i'm planning to continue working on it, so let's see how it turns out.
while implementing this game, i had in mind the possibility of expanding it, so if you look at the source code, you can see that the mission and cell types are made modularly.
The neuron mission was "meh". Holding the space bar make it easy and not holding it make too hard. The camera orientation is weird too. It would have been good just by turning the camera toward the objective and adding a limit to how much you can levitate.
