The Plot

You're a Dad. A good one. But something terrible happened and here you are in your car, trying to gather many of your children as possible, but time is running out ! The more you have, the faster you go, the harder it is to not crash into a wall. Fortunately, your sons are excellent projectiles !

Controls

Everything is explained in game do not worry ! However i think i can repeat it here for you: - Arrow Keys to move your wonderful car - Shift + Arrow Key to drift like a mad dad !

Controls seems a bit buggy try to fix it I want to play it smoothly :p but the atmosphere is really great, the music with the title screen leave a smile on our face.

Well played !

Je ne sais pas comment, mais j'ai réussi à retourner la voiture et je me suis envolé... désolé d'avoir cassé le jeu
Mais gg pour l'amour porté à Bob. What a great game.

In Chrome, the play button doesn't appear to do anything. It doesn't even have a hover state like the exit button (which also does nothing).

I tried edge as well but it won't even load there.

edit: Got it to work after going fullscreen.

The turning mechanic feels really bad. Turning too early just stops the car, but turning too late kills you. In this state, I don't see any incentive to not just turn early and safely strafe through the corner. Since the turn kills the momentum, it lacks any of the enjoyment of a typical "drift" mechanic.

Performance was really bad in chrome. Not sure why, I've seen a few other unity games with this problem though, so I'm assuming the problem may be in chrome or unity, not your game specifically. A GTX 1070 + Threadripper 1950x should have no trouble with this.

Graphics had a nice consistency, this could be fun with some tweaked mechanics.

The idea and the world are pretty cool, but the actual gameplay is really stiff, making the car move is difficult at times and drifting is not very smooth. Maybe next time you should concentrate more on the programming and less on the graphics, as you are clearly very good in making the graphics already.

Odd way to control a car (not very realistic, but challenging).
Nice work!

@fireslash Thank you for your long comment ! I've had a hard time finding a way to make the turning feel good in the game and for the performance i optimized really badly the game, so i guess it's my fault ! It's my first game ever made so im looking forward to improve on that ! :D Thank you

@tommy Thank you tommy ! The main problem of the game is clearly the controls and the game feel, i'd be looking forward to it for the next game :D

Amazing execution. I only had one gripe about the visuals: the floating text. Music was great. On the other hand, I found the game play really unforgiving. I could only sometimes get past the first turn on the second level and I just couldn't get past the second turn on the first level. I would have enjoyed the game a lot more if the turns could be completed more softly.

I feel like your scope might have been a bit too big ! There's a lot of cool stuff but sadly lacking polish and debugging. Great work though, I loved the atmosphere, a lot of graphic assets and music tracks, a fun premise, keep it up !

XD the flying car bug is AWESOME !!!
Apart from that good game but very difficult to turn without any problem like colliding with the outside of the track or not hitting the right keys, en somme : frustrant >< !
Good reflexion on the theme, guys !See ya !

The art and the music are amazing. The drifting mechanic didn't let me read some of the texts. Overall a cool game that creates an awesome mood around it. COngrats!

I love the art style and mood of the game. The concept is pretty absurd and funny, and it's great. The controls do seem a little weird, I didn't expect the drift to be a instant 90 degress turn but when I get jold of it I became a drift expert, drifting even mi air. Also, I found a trick, if you drift at the beginning of the stage to a side and then back to face the road you get an initial speed boost. Help me with the time limit.

Overall, great job!

it's not normal to throw your own kids...
also R button is not working if you already died
and it's not normal for car to move in ortogonal direction to it's tires
but anyway, GJ!

Looks great and I like the music too. Wasn't sure what I thought about the turning at first but when you get used to it, it's actually pretty fun, especially at high speeds.
