crazycat_cover.png You are the caretaker of cats. You must feed them, but food costs money. You must get more cats, to get more points!

This game is a mix of a CUTE CLICKER and a cat shelter SIM / MANAGEMENT. As such, the best way to get more kibbles is to kill off some of your cats (don't do this irl, tho! Cats are the best!) - or don't, and fight harder to keep them alive.

Seriously though, if one of them tries to run away, just put it down and use it for food!

Crazy Cat Collector will continue life at itch.io, after LDJAM41 is over.

Cute game.
The gameplay is a bit monotone, but that might just be how I feel about clicker games ;)

I might be a horrible person, but I may have found my best strategy to be turning all but three of the cats into kibble, and then focusing on money. lol

ugh this game made me depressed lol. These poor kitties are starving and there's no way I'm sacrificing them so now I'm just stuck in an endless cycle of clicking as fast as possible and buying as much kibbles as I can.

If my wife didn't get mad for how loud my clicks were I would have played for 20 minutes. Those poor hungry cats that I "recycled" haha

Well, after playing your game for 5 minutes I found the way to cheat it: clicking with both hands on touch-pad and mouse at the same time (income doubled) ;-) But after a another 5 minutes I found myself killing the cats feeling pretty damn good about it. 😜 And now I know exactly why do cat shelters "dispose" their pets.

Why are these games so addictive? I just with the Automation was a bit more effective. But then again, with all these generous kibble donations coming in, I didn't have much work with my 3 cats. Oh now it's two, I didn't pay attention while writing this comment and one ran away. Bad cat! And fun game I must say.

Naming the cats was a nice touch :) Unfortunately, there's a bug and the names don't show anymore after the first *recycling*.

You had me at "Sacrifice cats (click on them) for cheap food". The game oozes with flavor, like how the cats are named - helps it so you got a slight emotional attachment to the cat. Very funny game. I think the game is a bit too demanding but maybe I am just someone who likes to turn my brain off? Especially in this case since the humorous and silly premise of the game lends itself more to a casual game. Maybe implement two different difficulty modes (I know its easier said than done, we wanted to do so for our game but couldn't get around to it). Overall, probably one of, if not the, the funniest LD41 game that I've played so far.

A pity there's no Linux version, I would liked to have played.
