My high score so far is 77. Took me a couple of plays to get the idea but it's quite addictive once you get going.

A score of 256 on the second try, very addictive. I like the setting up of the elements, especially the big score in the background. The idea of using the enemy shots and deflecting them with the attraction of the earth is great. Personally I think the game may be a little too easy, soy I play longer ^^. Bravo !

What a great game! I really like the idea of being a little innocuous planet that just reflects the shots of its enemies.

Neat! I got 154 on the first try, but it was just starting to get really hectic, which is always fun with these kinds of shooters.

I really like the concept of being able to use your gravitational field to slingshot back to enemies, but I found this wasn't really necessary. I ended up just going around in a big circle and letting them shoot straight and hope they hit each other, and thus not very strategic. Maybe there can be an additional incentive to use the slingshot which would increase the strategic element?

Overall, a very smooth, polished-feeling game (animations and sound help with that), good difficulty ramp up, and got hectic in a good way. Thanks!

I kinda agree with @Micah ! A small point multiplier for shots that you slingshotted would be really cool.. maybe even (exponential complexity increase aside) a multiplier for how many slingshots happened in a row that hit targets?

This game is really satisfying to play. Dodging around the enemies and the bullets is really fun. The music and the visual style is really nice. I think it's funny how after you die, the remaining enemies swarm around your last position and start finishing each other off...

I agree with what is said above, that a point multiplier or something along those lines is needed to encourage more actual slingshotting. Another thing is that the meteorites didn't kill the aliens when hitting them.

Overall it is a really fun game

Addictive and very easy to understand :p I agree with previous comments, you should get a bonus for making enemies shoot each other and a huge bonus for slingshooting meteorites into other enemies (each bonus streak counting how many enemies you took down with a single meteorite). That would make the difficulty scale much faster for more experienced players so they don't get bored.

Nice job  !

Got even higher by pulling a little cheat: Click on the page's grey zone to pause the game, then click a zone clear of enemies to instantly teleport there

I love it! Using the mouse position directly without any restriction on your planet's movement speed was a great thought. It has that feeling of freedom that is difficult to achieve in designing game controls. Instead of needing to focus on navigation so much, you can experiment with playing the game against itself. Great going, you have my vote!

This is a super cool idea! I think my favorite thing is you could dodge bullets pretty easily, but you have to fly close to them to make use of your gravity and kill enemies. You're rewarded for taking risks, which is perfect! And when asteroids appear, you have to be extra careful because they can push enemies around which makes it too chaotic. Fantastic game.

I really liked this game!

Graphics are really simple and lovely, and the song and sfx fit in nicely! Trying to control everything indirectly was quite fun and funny... I would usually accidentally hit enemies (instead of being able to aim).

One minor nitpick is having to go back to the keyboard to start and restart the game. Since the entire game is controlled with the mouse, those actions should also be activated with it.

Clever concept, simple, well balanced, it's fun to play, difficulty grows just at good speed, and graphics and animations are simple yet neat. My best score is only 143, but I think this is a very good entry. Well done ! :)

This was really fun. Though, with a lot of enemies on the screen I don't find myself using the gravity mechanic too much. Instead it seems better to just try to avoid the bullets as best I can.

Fun game! Like the art and sound design. Good idea for a mechanic too, although I found that the best strategy was to not focus on the slingshot aspect too much (maybe that was intentional though).

Got 213 on second try. The way my planet pulled the laser shots felt very unnatural. I think there should be much wider range of my gravity.

Great game! Really cool usage of the theme, and the game is very addicting. My strategy to get more points is staying behind one alien so the others target him  . I tried using the gravitational field, but that way I lost much faster, so I think giving some incentive to use it could be nice.

"Aliens can kill each other" is the key element of this game that makes this game better than a "dodge game".Very impressive.

Man, what a great entry. I think the concept is simple, intuitive, and so fun. The graphics were gorgeous, and it's the right kind of hard to keep you trying to get harder score. One challenge for me was trying to predict what would happen if the shots went to a certain part of the gravity (but learning this was part of the fun. One of my favorite things about this game is the UI. I love how everything is in the center of the screen. Overall a fantastic entry.

Would appreciate feedback on mine as well:

Fun to play, solid use of the gravity field and a pretty appealing look. The large score gives it a good arcady feel. No idea if the unity WebGL setup with itch.io would support that, but leaderboards might be a fun addition to have.

The idea is really cool! Nice graphics also and good music. Overall, an impressive entry! The game gets quite hard farily quickly :grinning: Shooting a projectlie right back at the attacker actually requires a lot of precision (that I don't have :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:). Good job!

I like the controls, were playing with idea of full mouse-controlled protagonist by myself for some time. Spinning enemy shots back was fun at first, but sadly not really useful later, as enemies basically kill each other by themselves.
Overall, very good, thank you for the game.

Can't say much more than has already been said. So far my favorite of the games! Kudos! Graphics, music, concept, theme, all great! Could slow down or change to easier enemies first, then ramp up the speed and add shooting aliens. Or don't change a thing, because it is great.

(only nitpick thing is the text should say "because of your size" instead of "cause of your size." It just made it a little hard to understand the sentence).

This was really fun! I like the concept of using gravity to deflect enemy shots. I feel there should be more incentive to using that though, because I found it easier to play it like a bullet hell and avoid everything.

Fun and addictive game with mechanics easy to pick up. It's best to play game in full screen, because in itch window there is a small issue - after moving outside of supported bounds, the enemies get confused, and shoot in incorrect direction - the one that earth left game screen instead of current. In full screen it is not possible to move outside of bounds.

Got 314 points, love the idea, most cool part for me is interaction between enemies, in most games it would've been just ignoring each other, but there some unusual combinations can happen while they are acting. Art and sound are pretty cool too.

This is great. As everyone has said, the presentation and graphics are great, but it's probably a little on the easy side.

Speaking strategically, it's far easier to manipulate the enemy ai and/or just dodge and let them take one another out. There are a couple of things you could do to alleviate this:
1) Give the player some other goal, like a large thing to destroy, so that they absolutely MUST use the gravity mechanic.
2) make the gravity alittle weaker with a larger range. In its current state it's pretty hard to control.

Anyhow great stuff. good controls and awesome presentation! :D

Great polish and allround feel, nice concept and executed well. Theres not much to complain about here - maybe it is a bit easy and it feels like its lack of focus that gets you killed in the end. I like the progression of enemies and the big score numbers in the background was a nice touch.

This is great! Really reminds me of Geometry Wars pacifism once you really get going, and I love the ability to 'attack' with the gravity pull. The controls were very tight, took a little while to get used to but just right for this kind of game. I'm curious to see if it could work with an analog controller. Great job!

I like the idea of the mechanic! Its really interesting, though I did have trouble trying to get the hang of it. It still feels too random and hard to control. I landed up just focusing on dodging most of the time instead of trying to fling things at enemies. So I wonder if doing something like slowing down objects that are in your orbit might help with control? Just a thought, other than that great job on the simple and addictive game!

Amazing game. Simple but really funny and challenging. I made 144 points and I enjoyed it a lot.
