The Gravedigger by Simone

* Overview: *
This is my second Ludum Dare and I really enjoyed it :) Will you be able to leave your shitty gravedigger job to go to the Bahamas? Host as many corpse as you can in your graveyard, but be careful! The more you host, the more you will have to deal with, during the night. Explore the map looking for hints from your predecessor.
* Controls:* - arrows or WASD to move - mouse to turn - left mouse button to shoot and click on buttons.
* Comments: * - GO FULL SCREEN or the mouse control will make a mess!
* Tools used: * - Unity 3d (+ TextMeshPro and UnityParticlePack) - Blender - Gimp - Bosca Ceoil - Bfxr - Audacity
PS: since mouse control is pivotal, the browser version wouldn't work for this game :( I'm sorry, only executable this time!

Good overall experience, it is quite ambitious.
Ok wow am I actually really surprised by this game. When the tutorial came up, there were many writing errors and I thought "oh boy, that's gonna be a bad game".
But wow the game proved me wrong. While I didn't try out the shotgun I think the shooting felt quite good and I had fun killing those undead! The variation with big zombies was also good.
But what I really liked was the round-to-round approach where you have to select a mission every day and then you can play another round. Made it feel like some kind of zombie mode (it kinda is huh?:D)
Also very interstingly we both have the same idea for the theme implementation where after more time passes more enemies will come. Cool!
Some things I think you could improve on:
Having to use the mouse to select between night and the dealer was kind of a struggle. It would have been nice to have a menu popup when you press a certain key near the gate I think.
Also my mouse keeps going out of the fullscreen window, don't know if this is your bug or unity but it was also annoying.
Other than that great game, I really liked it!

if I had one complaint I'd say its not entirely obvious when your able to click the buttons, its a pain and almost seems buggy when you go towards the gate, but good job I enjoyed it through and through ;)
I could only finish night 1 though, as my cursor locked permanently. The controls should've been a bit better with the mouse, but besides that, it's a really cool game!
I really enjoyed the choice of adding more zombies for more cash. The nights weren't too challenging for me since the mouse controls worked well; but towards the end there was definitely some intense running and shooting going on.
Obviously, the UI could use some work; as others have mentioned how interacting with the driver can be difficult. And from a design perspective, it would have been cool to have a themed UI.
But otherwise, very well done. You kept it simple but preserved both the theme and a good game.
I didn't like that the gameplay of avoiding zombies and waiting for them to move. It makes the combat exploitable to the point that the increased zombies really doesn't impact gameplay. Also, mouse moving out of game when using two monitors kept minimizing my window. That and the fucking mouse interface for interacting with the trader/mission guy.
p neat fun lil game doe
For me I just found this game not challenging because you can spam the guns (making the shotgun too overpowered).
Also the zombies are all the same, in fact, they can never touch you for their snail-like moving speed lol.
Maybe add in more zombie mutations is a way to make the game more challenging.
Overall very good work!
The altars have nice UI where you can see the bar in the game world itself.
