The Greedy ATM

About

You are an ATM with a greedy IA which doesn't hesitate to steal money from its users!

Multiple people will use you to cash their hard-earned cheques. Every time an user uses you you will decide how much money return to him / her, and maybe you can return less than you were asked for...

But be careful! Not all users will simply walk away and will try to punch you in order to get his / her money back. In those cases you will have to defend yourself and your booty!

Very cool concept but I think it gets very repetitive. It would be interesting to have some objective or a system to evaluate the character whether he deserves or not to have the money stolen, such as Papers, Please.

Hi @gabrielgamedev , thanks for playing!

Yeah, when I "finished" it I found it so repetitive too. Some extra mechanic would have been nice... but that's all I could do after knowing about the Ludum Dare on Sunday xD ^^U

Thank you for the feedback!

@island-jam-2-group-3 It's a game jam, it's totally understandable.

My highscore is 580 euros! I never returned any money and just dealt with the raging customers :smile:
Had a similar mechanic in mind when I started the jam and thought it might be cool to negotiate prices, a little bit like the Witcher 3 haggling mechanics. Also it would have been nice to distinguish the customers a little and have them give away little clues as to whether they'd be willing to surrender a lot of money to the greedy ATM or not. Nice game! :)
