Captura1.JPG Captura3.JPG Captura4.JPG Billy is very hungry. Billy hates junk food since he is on a diet. So please do me a favor and keep Billy's stomach full of healthy veggies and fruits. And remember the more calories Billy ingests, the worse it is! :hamburger::pizza::cake:

Nice entry! Gameplay starts quite slowly but it gets more intense after a while. I got to 48 points :)

@sanvar Yes it gets pretty out of hand. 48 is a quite good score! Thanks for checking it out!

The game was fun to play, and both music and graphics was pretty good. I would have liked a bit better introduction to the game mechanic in the game. But overall really funny and good game. Well done.

Good interpretation of the theme. We did an eating game too.

Would be cool to have a munching sound effect.

Well presented game little game, good job.

This game was pretty fun. The best part was the music! I was bopping my head to it the whole time. And the amount of food flying at me near the end was quite hilarious. Good stuff! (I got 52!)

Super fun game! Starts out easy enough then gets pretty challenging as soon as it starts getting crowded ahah. Simple but effective and fun. Loved the art as well. Congratulations. :D

Cool interpretation, nice graphics, great tune. A very nice and fun quick game. I don't even want to know how fast the food flies past 60...

It fits the theme well and absolutely oozes charm. Full of fantastically implemented game feel. My only complaint is that it is mechanically a bit simple.

These low poly/resolution 3d models(?) are awesome, Fun little arcade game you've got here. I'd love to see some other stuff made using the art style you've used on the food in this game!

I reached 38 and I couldn't clear the junk food fast enough at that stage to filter out the healthy stuff =) Some of the item's down by the time bar I couldn't grab, the raycast collider was preventing it I think? You mentioned the asset store for models, but what about the music? I thought it was cheerfully suitable for the game.

@owc I completely agree. I tried to solve this by adding some rotation in the direction of the movement of the food(when you drag it) but it's clearly not enough. Thanks for the feedback!

@imphenzia Yeah, the WebGL version screwed the proportions of the UI (and also the outline shader). The bar is supposed to be below the table and I had no time to fix it, so yeah... Actually the raycast only targets food but it's very hard to hit stuff when you can't see it, my bad :P
The music is a no copyright track I found on youtube and thought it really matched the theme.

Really neat game. Starts very easy and then escalates pretty quickly. It did stop getting harder though and seemed like I could've played indefinitely, but I stopped at 236. There's no score on the screen while the game is being played which I found a bit odd. Also the music just stopped playing after a while.

@arkia I know as tired as I was I though it was hard enough when I was testing it. The day after I also did 200+ and had the same felling. I also forgot to loop the music...
Thanks for the feedback and glad that you enjoyed it regardless

Very fun, loved how you used the rounded rectangles art style. This game looks awesome!

audio is very funny, almost a 5 to me, just missing an "eating"sound effect.

In overall it's pretty impressive. Congratulations!

Hah, a well executed, fun concept here. I quite like the art. The grey bar at the bottom with the black-and-white for and knife icon contrast a bit with the otherwise colourful scheme, which is a shame. I scored a 93.

Like others (including you yourself) said before me, chewing and other sound effects would have been great. But the music is a good audio backdrop. Also, sometimes I had quite a bit of trouble picking up food and getting it to actually drop in the right spot.

A very charming game, good work!

Very cool mix of graphics, it looks incredibly polished and didn't realize this was a solo game until I clicked back to this page. Fairly straightforward gameplay so not much to say there, but at least it was pretty satisfying especially to see feedback from the game like when Billy gets fatter. I feel your pain about webgl and custom shaders. It's super upsetting to work on a game up to the 90% time mark, toss it on Itch and realize it looks nothing like Unity editor. This is a hard lesson we had to learn a bit back...

Damn Billy and his appetite :D This was an entertaining little game with plenty of polish, simple but enjoyable to play. The difficulty curve is actually in my opinion really well-adjusted - it starts off relaxed enough to allow the player to get used to the rules but soon speeds up into complete chaos. The physics of the foods interacting with each other even when picked up was nice too, added just a little more difficulty as the food started piling up. Highest score I managed was 59 before it all went wrong :D
There was only one thing I felt was really missing from this game, that being audio feedback. Just a simple chewing sound and an approval sound for good food and disapproval for bad. Maybe a click sound as well. But as many others have said, the music was nice and helped fill in the silence. Overall a very entertaining little game, nicely done!

Fun little game. I think the only thing missing is a little more direction and a cartoon hand to catch the food instead of the mouse cursor. Really great polish and loved the song! Really great use of the theme and the mood was perfect!

Pretty simple gameplay, yet fits the theme really well and difficulty naturally grows over time. Could use some more gamefeel effects when eating food, however it did have getting fatter and eating food animation, which is quite nice.

This game has simple mechanism but was quite well implemented. Food models are all very cute-looking. I also like that you make Billy actually get fatter when he eats junk food. It is not very clear though to which point player would lose because of eating junk food.

Currently the game just ends when Billy is too hungry. I think it would make more sense to make him trying to get junk food when he's too hungry, and the hungrier he is, the harder to stop him from eating junk food. Then the only way to lose is when he gets too fat.

Adding more sound effects such as eating noise would certainly improve the experience.

BTW, my game is also about dieting. Check out if you are interested :)

Hey! I gave your game a stream last night and I really enjoyed it

I loved the fact that the dude sucked in the food and if it was unhealthy he got pretty hefty!

The hunger bar really added to it as well, giving me something else to worry about than not just feeding him healthy stuff

One feature I would add would be a bin - Maybe billy would flip the table and all the food goes off, the table got a tad bit too messy at the end - Intentional?

Also to make life easier for the player - I would make it so the food is highlighted (maybe with a orange/blue highlight so the player knows it's picked up)

Great fun anyway, cheers for creating a great game for me to play! :yum:

@ponchoguy Great feedback. Adding the flipping table would have been hilarious. But I run out of time :P

And the outline highlight thing is in the game. Only that the shader in the WebGL version is messed up for some reason. The Windows version works fine though(you can see it on the Youtube video too).
