It worked for me on windows 10. Pathfinding is pretty bugged though, a lot of enemies get stuck on buildings.

@TheOZoneBE Yeah pathfinding was our main issue, and we had not enough time to debug it. So sad about this, sorry :)

It was fun to play! Shooting was very smooth and accurate. Could run the game just fine on windows 10.

(i eventually was ble to download, first had a bit of trouble with the bandwidth).

Very cute game, i like the graphics and especially the terrain animation. I sometimes didn't understand why i died, i think it was because something spawned near me whcih i did not see. The concept gets clear quickly, though there seems to be an issue with the AI of some sort - for example, i am in wave 3 with the giant moth, and one kitty is alive. It seems the moth is attacking an empty house, because it does so infinitely. In any case, good work :)

Liked the setting of going in the room and the roof appears.

However, didn't see any consequence when I exceed the limit.

I liked the animations, both for the monsters and for the terrain. I also liked the variety of the invading monsters! Some sound effects, especially for the weapon firing, and the creatures dying, would improve the mood even more, it felt a bit too silent.

The gunplay also felt pretty good, including the fact that you had to shoot with precision, or have to wait for the gun to recharge.

The pathfinding of the enemies seemed to be a bit off sometimes, with the monsters getting stuck to buildings. This made it a lot easier to kill them, than they would have been otherwise.

The detail of being able to duck into buildings, and emerge in another place was a nice touch!

It was originally unclear to me exactly what the bar at the top was supposed to represent, among other things. I had to spam click the gun and see what happened in order to figure it out.

I don't know. In general I just don't think I really understood what I was supposed to be doing. I shot the bad guys and everything, and I guess that it makes sense. However, it is sort of unclear when you take damage, so perhaps that was my problem.

The one piece of perhaps useful information I can give you is that I personally find the graphical style to be less than optimal for one reason: it mixes resolutions of pixel art. I find this sort of thing to be distasteful, and although I am less than skilled as a pixel artist, I think that one of the generally agreed upon conventions is that it does not mix resolution levels. But that's mostly just my opinion.

This was quite fun to play and pretty well polished! I liked the graphics a fair bit, shame there wasn't some audio. I liked the variation in the enemies, the fast ones were fun to try and shoot. Some enemies did get stuck on buildings but I otherwise had no troubles. Great submission!

This was a very fun and challenging game! Greatly executed and it's also really cool to know that you programmed it on a home made engine. The graphics were also really good, I liked a lot the detail you gave when you enter in a house. The only thing that's misssing is the music, maybe next time. Congrats on your effort!
