Very cute game, i like the graphics and especially the terrain animation. I sometimes didn't understand why i died, i think it was because something spawned near me whcih i did not see. The concept gets clear quickly, though there seems to be an issue with the AI of some sort - for example, i am in wave 3 with the giant moth, and one kitty is alive. It seems the moth is attacking an empty house, because it does so infinitely. In any case, good work :)
However, didn't see any consequence when I exceed the limit.
The gunplay also felt pretty good, including the fact that you had to shoot with precision, or have to wait for the gun to recharge.
The pathfinding of the enemies seemed to be a bit off sometimes, with the monsters getting stuck to buildings. This made it a lot easier to kill them, than they would have been otherwise.
The detail of being able to duck into buildings, and emerge in another place was a nice touch!
>Defend the city!
>Deploy the quantum weapon,
>And make them perish!
I don't know. In general I just don't think I really understood what I was supposed to be doing. I shot the bad guys and everything, and I guess that it makes sense. However, it is sort of unclear when you take damage, so perhaps that was my problem.
The one piece of perhaps useful information I can give you is that I personally find the graphical style to be less than optimal for one reason: it mixes resolutions of pixel art. I find this sort of thing to be distasteful, and although I am less than skilled as a pixel artist, I think that one of the generally agreed upon conventions is that it does not mix resolution levels. But that's mostly just my opinion.
