This is a linear story game, there is no real "game" and not much interaction, just use right arrow key to advance the story, left arrow key to go back.

It's difficult to know how to rate something that's not really supposed to be a game. I've made a similar, almost linear, LD entry in the past, where the main goal was to convey a message and there wasn't very much gameplay either, tho a bit more than this.

The atmosphere and the mood is definitely there. I think I get what it's about, and even recognise it a bit, but it's not blatantly obvious and I cannot know for sure whether I've interpreted it correctly, and I assume that's a bit of the point: a way for you to get something out, possibly attracting those who are able to catch the drift, and not necessarily anybody else.

Combination of great presentation and mood but lack of much of a game. An interesting entry. Well done!

As said in the previous comment, it's not easy to rate this entry. :astonished:

It was a bit hard to understand what was happening in this sort of glass ball...

I think it's a brave entry, and it was a nice story. It's hard to capture the player with these kind of experiences, maybe if you added more music and sound clues to the context, that would help with immersion.

Cool entry none the less.

Nice graphics, interesting story. I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :)

It's an interesting entry, though I'm not sure I have a lot to say about it; certainly it looks very nice.

Actually, my one complaint: when the game loads up, there is no text at first; for me, it took almost 30 seconds for any text to appear. I was pressing right and left as the instructions said, trying to figure out if I was having any effect on the displayed graphics (it didn't seem like it). If that's intentional, I'd recommend against
it. If it's not, and it's not just some weird issue with my browser (which it most certainly could be), then you might want to start with some sort of "loading" message; I almost quit before it even actually started. That said, it's entirely possible it's a problem on my end that no one else run into, in which case, please ignore the preceding paragraph.

You could call it maybe a linear visual novel?

Even if it is a "not-game" it still has its place here. I really like the mood it generates through the audio.

Interesting take on the theme, as the other comments have said, not easy to rate something that's not a game, but I enjoyed stepping through and liked the graphics in the glass orb.

Feels a lot like the opening to a text-based story game! Interesting is the word many used, and I agree. The backing audio helps a whole lot with the atmosphere, as did the glass ball time-lapse thing. Well done!

Non-games are definitely welcome, I enjoyed the experience
