I think I got 104. I tried playing it aiming for lowest score after that, but failed miserably!

Also, my character seemed to like shouting "muffins!" which I suppose isn't unreasonable.

Só achei que não tem muito desafio. Talvez alguma variedade deixasse ele mais divertido (como inimigos por exemplo)

Nice game! I really like the overall presentation, it feels really nice to play the game. Graphics are very Pico8, the music is fitting and the gameplay is simple, but fun. Good work ^^

Moving around is slippery, but fun. It all forms a very cohesive whole; graphics, music, the fun bits of exclamation the character makes, etc :slight_smile:

I did notice that it got very easy to play when you just stood outside of one of the windows, or just go back and forth on the 'top row' just outside the windows.

How hard would you say working with a fantasy console is versus, say, C++(/SDL2)-dev.? (If you're familiar with something like that anyway.)

@remco I don't have specific C++ experience, but I'd say that it has some easier and harder parts: it has an included editor for sprites, maps, sfx and music. Whilst those are not the easiest, at least you have a head start. It is similar to using a good games programming library. On the other hand you are incredibly limited by screen size, memory and programming language, which makes it a difficult, but fun challenge.

Simple but fun! I like the graphics. In the later levels it's impossible to catch most of the food, so I reverted to staying on the top near one of the cooks. It would be better to balance the game so that you can actually catch food through skill in the later levels.

Scored 113 and had a fun time while scoring. A bit floaty on the movement front, but otherwise, a fun game for a quick burst of arcade gameplay.

I like seeing these Pico8 games. This one has very cool graphics and a catchy tune, which are always a plus. Gameplay wise, the game is very simple, and I didn't really notice much change over the course of the game other than the ocassional burping. I half expected it to get far more intense, but still, it was amusing to see it the first couple of times.

Really fun game! It has a simple gameplay mechanic but it is really enjoyable. The art style and the sound, too cool. I just felt that although I did get slower, it didn't make a big impact.

Other than that, really good idea, fun and simple. Loved the phrases the character shouted! Mine seemed to love burping and hot dogs. And he felt great! Congratulations!
