The important thing is that it was fun!
Good effort :)
But, 3 guys shooting at you? You mean the pit of prefects at the start of the game? I hope you made it past that or you've only seen a quarter of the game! You wouldn't have fought the first boss either!
I had a LOT of fun recording and editing the "WOTOTO".
I'm so glad you enjoyed it and yes, it might be offensive to some. I hate writing safe dialogue, it isn't as funny. XD
I would've liked an info to press space durcing dialogs, not that it's really needed, but it would be a nice info
Controls were great and core gameplay aswell, I really enjoyed the shooting mechanic. Enemies were quite dull and I ignored the ones I could, I would have liked the parts before bosses to be more focused on jumping and dashing. The dialogue scenes didn't look as good as the rest of the game. In my honest opinion, I would have enjoyed the game more without dialogue. The first two bosses were really great. It took awhile for me to finish the last boss though, so long that the gameplay went from fun to quite frustrating. Maybe you could have added a checkpoint after the first part of the last boss or maybe you wanted it to be hard, I just don't like hard games. The sound was quite funny at times and I liked the music for the second boss, otherwise the sound and music could have used some polish. Sad to see that some parts were without music, like the tutorial, it could have used some music. But considering the workload you had, I understand that you didn't really have time for that.
Overall it's quite a good game, with some polish I'd play it again!

I definitely agree with you that enemies are dull, and we knew this when we submitted it. But most of the effort went towards the bosses themselves, and we think this was for the better. Though I am a fan of the alley level because of how it looks and how it twists on itself.
I'm sorry you didn't like the dialogue. We were honestly very pleased with it. The tutorial is lacking, but it was a last minute effort, and I forgot to mention how dialogue worked. I was also meant to allow you to skip dialogue by holding Ctrl, but forgot that too.
The last boss is difficult on purpose. We think he's tough, but fair.
I assume the dash sound effect is actually you performing it, right?
