Great job! I got stuck at the end and couldn't get the last two meals without getting swatted. The story is cute and has potential. Thanks for making this!

@mao No, it's not supposed to end in an infinite loop. you have to figure out which one to go next that don't get you smacked. nothing in this game is RNG it's more like pattern figuring out and linear story telling

as a note, if this wasn't a jam i prob would have make the writing giving more hint on where to go next

Nice little game. I feel like the hunger mechanic could be develop further. I didn't felt like it affected much my decisions. Maybe having each action you take cost hunger instead of only some would make the game more challenging.

I loved the fact that you played as a mosquito. I always hide before stricking so I didn't die... maybe if you go directli for the human instead of waiting before the human catches you??

Anyway GOOD JOB! Keep up the great work!

nice, I think you could add a buf fly sfx during screen transitions to make it sound like you are flying to the new location and some sfx of dying on the screen transitions when we loose the game too, but those are justr suggestions!

Nice job! I've managed to get 3 of the objectives and beat the game, although during playing I got a bug where the wait option was unresponsive and ended up getting -150 hunger.. maybe because I kept clicking the option.

Anyways, it's a nice little game! :)

Quite cool concept! Really liked the music as well. Some of the consequences of choices were a bit unforeseen and felt somewhat random at times, but overall good game!

The mood of the game is nice and overall it was an interesting experience, but it looks like my choices don't matter at all. There was a moment when the game asked me a question with 4 different answers and I've failed to answer 3 times in a row. After each fail the game brings me back to the same question without any consequences. So why do you need so many possible answers if all of them doesn't matter and change nothing?

A nice little game you've got there, great chill music, and some decent graphics. I think you might need to make the hunger numbers a little more obvious. I didn't even notice them until maybe halfway through. Maybe a change in font, size, color and maybe a meter of some sort? And yeah, I got stuck in the seemingly infinite loop at the end, so must have missed the right option. So maybe some form of hint in the wording of the other options?

It is a pretty interesting idea. I have never thought about how mosquitoes feel or think and to beat this game i had to think like one of those. I didn't get the mix of genres here though. Good job!

I like the idea of your game a lot. If you expand upon it I think more dynamic art would help improve the feel of the game. This is a neat game.

Like others have said, the game feels very scripted and the genres aren't that incompatible, but the chill music was good and it felt nice thinking like a bug :smiley:

@NorthernHawk mosquitoes as far as i can google mainly depend on smell and temperatures, they have eyesight but that's not their main detection. i also humanized the mosquito a bit to fit the story. thanks for playing

I think that, since your game stands so much on the narrative, you could work a little more on the texts, descriptions and feeling. And I don't know why, but I keep scratching my arm since I stopped playing. xD
