@incredible-ape and @scout - this happens on gamejolt when you have adblock on. I was going to host my game there until I ran into this problem.

What are the controls? I can't play.

I think I had a lot of difficulty understanding the controls. It seems like the player character is frequently lagging behind the logical position. Also, it seems like clicking on a jewel does not move the character. One has to click on the tile around the character. Once I figured out the controls, I was able to finish the game. =)

Nailed it.

I'd wish that the character moved to the tile as I clicked it, though, that made getting the 3 jewels at the first level pretty impossible. (Or was it on purpose?)

Click on a orange-tinted tile and your character will start hovering towards that position. You can click on any tile that is 1 manhattan distance from the last position you clicked.

Cool game play I did not understand how to move at first, but got the hang of it after a while. I would add a tutorial or just a simple set of instructions though. Please feel free to play my game at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/rush-hour

I had similar problems as the other reviewers, I didn't get the controls at first.

I liked that I couldn't get past level one with all three jewels, it just fit the theme well.

Interesting Concept!
The movement is not very fast, and it takes a long time just to pick up a jewel unless you click the square behind it to move faster. Are there only 3 levels?

I had a clean initial run through. Got to the end I assume. I just jammed on the mouse button to run straight through each level. The movement system is a neat concept. I wish there where instructions. It's not immediately intuitive. And after my second run through I hit a bug. I made it to the stair case in the first room. It was green and I clicked and clicked but it would not load the next level. I tried backing off and going back in but it seemed like I was stuck. No ghosts loaded either. But all in all good entry.

It took a little while to work out the movement but it was a nice game and looked good.

While the simple concept is no bad at all, the game could be improved in orders of magnitude by changing the controls. I would try it in more of a turn based fashion, it would fix two problems: we can too easily out-run enemies by clicking rapidly and doing so makes for a really strange moving patern of the king.

Was a bit difficult to figure out the controls, would be nice to have the controls listed in game or at least in the description! Got the hang of it eventually though.

At first I was confused with the controls, but when I figured them out I found it to be super interesting. A very original control style. Managed to complete the run, but couldn't manage to figure out the enemy behavior. I understand the more diamonds the more enemies, but coulnd't foresee their movements. Overall a very satisfying and interesting experience congrats on this!

Interesting game. I didn't had difficulty to figure out the controls, but I think the moving was a little bit weird with the slowing down being too slow.
