The Ambassador of the Solar System House of Orbital Length and Entanglement (ASSHOLE) on planet D-3RP has recently declared that your little chunk of space dust no longer qualifies as a planet. Too small he said. Well, you'll show him!

The citizens of your planet have declared you are the one to lead the charge for vengeance. Scientists retrofitted four conveniently located volcanoes with technology that allows you to cause them to erupt at will. Using this newfangled technology you broke free of your solar orbit and made a beeline (more like an arc) straight for D-3RP. You are now right outside but they still refuse to acknowledge you. Time to show them you mean business the only way you know how: with force.

Gameplay

DON'T GET HIT! Your planet automatically attacks nearby enemies. Focus on avoiding the enemy projectiles at all costs!

Your civilization increases over time. Each hit reduces their technological advancements. If your civilization completes their research your planet will be rewarded with an upgrade.

Press Esc in game to open the pause/upgrade menu.

WASD or Arrow Keys to move the planet.

Spacebar to fire Missile Barrage (if you upgraded to it and one is available).

Upgrade System

You will only earn 6 upgrades max, use the points wisely and choose to spend them in one of 4 trees:

Weapons - Increases offensive capabilities.

Protection - Increases defenses of the planet.

Movement - Increases movement speed, duh.

Civilization - Assists in completing technological (civilization) research.

Known Issues

Almost no SFX - Sorry, we ran out of time.

No web version - The game runs abysmally on browsers so we didn't provide a web version this time around. We apologize and hope you still download it and try it out.

Hey! I played and it fits the theme interestingly, especially the volcano-propulsion feature that made me chuckle. I don't know if it would make it more fun or just scary, but you could show vignettes and sounds of the people in your little planet screaming as the planet gets hit by enemy fire. I have marked it down to rate it when judging comes on.

I played this on Livestream a Few Days Ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiOC3F43xF0

The font was a bit hard to read. The bullet speed and movement speed were very solid, core mechanics were solid, I think the purple enemy bullets looked like a shader error and you might wanna swap for a different color if that wasn't intended. Solid entry and it held my attention for a very long time.

Fun game! Music fits well. The controls are a little slow to react, perhaps this is intentional but it makes dodging anything in the later rounds near impossible. Overall, really nice game.

Jogo bacana, foi divertido testar, porém acho que poderia haver mais dedicação quanto a arte, pra tornar o jogo mais atrativo!

I love the music and the difficulty curve. Just a very small point, when the upgrade text appeared I instinctively clicked on it. Maybe it should be a button instead, so the upgrade menu would be accessible at one click. But it's a minor issue. Very good job!
