Trashsucker by Hugimugi7
Trashsucker is physics-based trash sucking simulator with platforming

Trashsucker is a platformer where you suck all the trash with your vacuum.
You also need to stay alive so it's important to determinate all trashballs on your path.
To empty your vacuum you need to shoot them to a wastebin
After you have finished cleaning whole area then you can move to next location.

Edit: I read the "Enter for next location" doesn't work for me on itch.io, as well as "Escape". I had an error punching the air.
Anyhow, first of all, I really enjoyed the concept and the mechanics of picking up the trash. It flies so fluidly, and being able to pick the trash up and then fire a barrage of junk looks and feels just right. My quip is that it felt a bit underused, specially since switching between wearing it and punching felt somewhat clunky.
Sprinting and moving feels alright, but the levels did feel a bit too big, causing a monotonous backtracking experience at points.
All in all, the trash sucking and firing mechanics are glorious, and it'd be great if in the future you expanded on the concept. Say, like firing trash below to reach new areas, or fill gaps, or something of that matter.
Great work overall. Speaking for my team, we wish you a great LD, and hope to see more of you in the future! :whale:
PD: I can't get over how great Trashsucker sounds in my head.
i echo these points especially the name sounding like a wrestler, i see a DLC new character looking like someone straight out of the WWE!

> I can’t sprint and jump at the same time.
You need to take off your Trashsucker first.
> I can’t get past the first part
You probably left some trash somewhere or haven't emptied your garbage to a waste bin.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I really appreciate it! :whale:
edit: if no, I can add this in my to play list when I boot windows
Unfortunately no
You created a nice little game with smooth animations and some pretty interesting sprites. I was rather impressed at how you managed to get so much trash on screen with their own colliders and such yet my game ran at high performance. The soundtrack was okay too.
### What you could improve on:
First of all, clarify the goal of the game inside the game. I had to tab back to the ld page to find out what it was that I was supposed to do. Second of all, program the waste bin in such a way that it doesn't require all of the trash, just maybe 90% of it, this stops the player from going on some wild chase to find that one last piece of trash.
But overall, a nice little game.
I enjoy the trash sucking ability, but it can be more than that. The combat with the hand is not good for your game, especially when there is no animations or effect to indicate where you hit. I suggest you to use trash cannon or something else to replace it, that may make the game more enjoyable.
Another thing is your level's goal is not clear. I have to remember where the trash is by myself, which is hard and I may lose a single piece of trash then I get stuck. Maybe you can use a meter to show how much trash is there to be collected, or a arrow to show the direction to remaining trash.
Good work!
The combat is kinda bad imo. There's no way to indicate if you hit or not and punhing doesn't seem to work melee? You have to have some distance between you and the monster in order for your punch to hit.
Overall, innovative and satisfying.
At first I thought you can blow trash at enemies as well to kill them. The second assumption was that enemies produce trash (by throwing it or after their death).
And the second level seems quite big in comparison to the first one.
Here is my playtest (sorry I failed it :head_bandage:):
